I just started watching his game film on DRAFTBREAKDOWN and have yet to find a game he had that were even remotely good. I saw most of the ND and California games but he does not stand out at all.
What am I missing? Can someone tell me what game he has some highlights on? If he is a top 3 pick should he not be at least be making some plays? He is being pushed around bad on these game films.
This is not being negative about him just needing a answer.

Prescription glasses maybe?
You might be watching the wrong game film. There probably are much better game tapes to watch than whatever you saw.
Then again you might not know as much about football as you think.
Oh snap! Jdubs with the sick burn !!!
Terrible reply! By the way 58 years been watching. All I was asking was what game to watch children.

LOL @ children. I will be 38 tomorrow.
Honestly I never even heard of Leonard Williams before everyone here started talking about him. That's how it is every year before the draft because I don't watch games to scout players.
You hear that foo? She don't even know who he is and slammed you anyway. Better tip good cuz you got Served !!
From what I remember in watching him, the guy basically lived in the backfield. The only times I noticed him not getting penetration he was double, even triple teamed.

How good were the offensive lines he played against?
You are right.
Clearly everyone else is wrong regarding their evaluation of Leonard Williams.
Does that make you feel better?
Are you out of your mind?
Leonard Williams' initial punch is strong enough to put people through a wall. Go back through those highlights and give me one offensive lineman that took him out of the game. There's not one.
He's the best player at his position in the draft.
Man, y'all are really letting the poor guy have it for asking a question, aren't you?
No thanks. I'd rather get Cooper at No. 3, Or, trade out for something like the below scenario:
Swap our 3rd round pick for Houston's 16th and 51st overall pick. Houston drafts Mariota or Winston to play QB for them.
We take with the 16th overall pick: Landon Collins - Safety - Alabama / Snatch Todd Gurley - RB - UGA at 36 and with the 51st pick we go and get Nick O'Leary - TE - FSU
Maybe your just watching the wrong games
No player is gonna dominate his matchup every single play, Not JJ Watt not Clowney when he was playing hard, watch the bowl game the guy was in the backfield 75% of the time, and many other games he was dominate. Its a reason he is rated as the top prospect and not just on this board, but by almost every scout, he is in the top 5.

So you would trade back 13 spots in the 1st (out of the top 10) for a second round pick?
Lol you can keep that. I seriously think that is the worst situation that could happen. If a team wants to move up to pick possibly the best QB in the draft, I would need at least 2 first round picks, maybe even 3.

Your crazy to trade down 13 spots to a division rival for a 2nd rounder who will draft their franchise QB. Your crazy to even want Cooper when we need much more help everywhere else, like defense. Take Williams at 3 if he is there or trade down to the Jets at 6 for 2nd, 3rd and next years 2nd or 2nd and next years 1st. Trade down and at 6 take Dante Fowler DE/OLB or if he isn't there I'm sure Gregory or Ray will be there.
Williams is not worth the 3rd overall pick. USC hasn't produced very good DE's over the last few years. I am not sold on this kid one bit. You guys are both right though. That's crazy of me. We should get more for the 3rd overall pick if a team really wants a QB. No excuse there. With that said though. Cooper is a good choice at number three. I don't care what anybody says.
Hurns - Injury Concerns - Hands are a concern - Was he good because of his knowledge of Fisch's offense
Lee - Injury Concerns - Flashed Late
Robinson - Finished on IR - Showed Promise though
Sanders - Four game suspension already in year two - Special teamer at best
Shorts III - Always Injury prone - May not be here in 2015
Blackmon - Major liability - May not even be back in the leauge
That leaves this team with three decent receivers at best with a 2nd year QB heading into a new offense already with the same rookies he played with last year. Why is everybody against this team taking the best receiver in this year's draft who has done nothing but flash, produce, and make plays in an offense that has typically produced solid players lately on offense? Take the kid, solidify your receiving core for the next three or four years, and go from there. Bortles needs help on offense. The defense played just fine. It will look even better when the offense can actually sustain a drive and keep putting points on the board.....

Wisconsin wasn't producing great DEs in the few years before Watt was drafted, LSU hasn't had very good WRs come out in the past decade but had 2 very good rookies last year. The past, is just that, the past.
What don't you like about his game?

Inconsistent. He's a feast or famine type player which scares me away from him. Is it because he takes plays off, etc? Does he not have a motor? Watt is renowned for his insane high motor, non-stop movememnt, and just pure drive and will. He was a walk-on at Wisconsin and had to progressively work his way up the ranks, transition his body, and put on the weight. That guy is unique.
With that said. I don't see that in Williams. He's 6-5, 300 pounds. He's more of a LE in a 4 - 3 scheme and he's more suited against the run. I just don't see him being a consistent pass rusher off the edge at this level. If this team needs a pass rusher. I'd say just wait until RD2 or RD3 and start looking at guys like Kikaha out of Washington or Orchard out of Utah who are both coming off of monster seasons with more upside in the pass rushing department.
IMHO, this team mostly struggled on offense last year, not defense, and especially not in the trenches. Take the best available offensive player on the board or trade down.
