How about Terry Malone former TE coach for the Saints?

How about Chris Petersen?

I loved him on "Get a Life".

I see what you did there... nicely done...

Udubers head coach
Right. The coach at a major university is going to leave his 4 million dollar salary to take the OC job here.

I am on the Edgar Bennet bandwagon right now.

Welcome to team Bennett.

Bennett has less experience than Fisch did when the Jags hired him.

This team needs to find a coordinator who has the background and experience in helping to develop a young QB.  Bennett has worked with RBs and WRs as a position coach in the league.  Pass.

I agree. Really, though, the team needs to get Doc Brown to lend us the Delorean so Dave can go back in time and hire Bruce Arians instead of Guy Smiley.
Well if Gus wants fast, efficient, and simple then Scott Frost should be the top candidate

I think Bradley will be fine as a head coach.  He just needs to get the right coordinator running his offense.

part of evaluating Bradley is evaluating his hires.  So far, they haven't been good at all.
First Get a Life, now a Sesame Street reference. I am HIGHLY impressed with this thread.

To be fair, how many new head coaches have the pick of the litter to select from for their staff?  It's pretty rare unless they're an established head coach who happens to have a staff following him around.

You hire who you can realistically get when you're hired as a head coach, and you probably will have to do it in pretty short order so that you have some sort of staff in place to assist with the scouting process at the Senior Bowl.

Did Gus try to get Turner? Was there a reason Turner went with Zimmer?

Agreed.

The only way I would consider Bennett at this point is if this were a team with an experienced and established Pro Bowler at QB.  Even then, I would have some reservations.

Mike Zimmer -> Norv Turner
