Quote:The fun part of all this will be sitting back and watching him continue to self destruct.  I can't wait until his has more money than he knows what to do with, that will be entertaining...

There are those who would say, well he could mature.  Nah, he's too stupid.

I'm sure you thought Johnny Manziel wouldn't mature either.
Quote:I know we've moved onto other topics, but going back to the sexual assault case, I think this is a really good article that pretty much breaks down everything and dispels a lot of the rumors that the media is pushing (using the actual evidence from the case): http://chopchat.com/2014/12/24/heres-new...t-telling/

Interesting.
Quote:Care to elaborate?

How would your superior punishment go exactly? I'd love to hear.
He'd never be allowed to play sports again and everytime he did something positive it would be brought back up that he once stole.....I mean that's the status quo right Big Grin
Quote:I can assure you my son would be suspended for more than a couple meaningless baseball games. What Jameis got was a slap on the wrist from the baseball coaches, and it allowed the football coaches off scott free.
This is funny, it wasn't even football season when it occurred.
Quote:Lets go through this again.

Accused of sexual assault- cleared

Stealing soda- no charges filed

shooting bb guns- no charges filed

Stealing crab legs- served community service, suspended from baseball team for a couple games.

shouting obscenities- suspended for 1 game against major (at the time) conference rival.

So none of those are crimes?
Quote:When pressed for a response, please get over yourself.

I would have suspended him personally for 3 football games. The star player on your national championship team just got caught stealing from a grocery store. If that doesn't show how entitled he think he is, than what does? Especially all the trouble he had gotten into previously.

If it was a walk on football player, would he have stayed on the team?
How long was Johnny Manziel suspended for for taking autograph money? O that's right one game, or was it a half of a game? Lol c'mon man 3 games...thats silly, no team would do that.

That was by the NCAA because they couldn't get enough evidence against him.  Same thing happened to Winston and Clowney as well.  Next?

I don't blame Jimbo, I wouldnt have suspended Jameis for stealing either.  I would let him get away with all he could.  He's my quarterback and he's on the field to get the job done.  It's up to the school to sit athletes when they do the wrong thing.

Technically he was never charged with theft. He was issued a citation.

Who Mr. money phone/late night drunk pics/late night fights/justin beiber entourage/just admitted he needs to take the NFL seriously?  Who, that guy? Really?  That's your example?

You can't be serious. You and cousin Eddie have been drinking too much eggnog this month.

You seem to be confusing "charged" and "crime". You can commit a crime and it's still a crime whether or not you get caught or punished for it.

Late night drunk pics and a fight he's not even listed as a suspect in? Big deal.

Forget it, dude.

It's really a shame, because I think a lot of the hate and opinions towards Winston  are driven by misinformation put out there but a 4 letter network looking to get clicks.  If I was uninformed about everything, I'd probably either have the same opinion, or be sick of hearing about it and hate him by association.

But, I digress.

It's easy to point and criticize everything he and FSU has done; the fact of the matter is he is treated differently than a normal person because of his fame, but in some ways it works against him.  I highly doubt other athletes, on FSU or other teams, get suspended for the biggest game of the year for yelling obscenities in a student union imitating an internet joke.

Yes. He's really matured. Are you serious. He's a train wreck.
Pictures of him drunk. OH THE HORROR!!
