If she was being raped, why didn't Casher and Darby step in and help? If she was raped, why did Winston take her home at the end of the night? How many people who have just committed sexual assault take their victims home? It took her over a month to identify who it was, and then all of a sudden one day she has an epiphany and suddenly it was Jameis Winston. Two of her own friends even called her a liar. They had consensual sex, and she felt bad about it. If Casher never comes in and starts filming, I guarantee this never even becomes an issue.

 

So please, link the NYT story, and any of the other one-sided articles and show me proof.

If you want to be a college football fan in the 21st century you better be able to look the other way; you better be able to check your ethics at the door; you better to able to follow the money; and you better not care what happens to these "students" after their usefulness is over.

 

I watch (and occasionally attend) and enjoy college football - but I'm not silly enough to think it's more than Triple-A ball for the NFL, with side benefits of some history and tradition. And like the NFL, 90% of the participants are decent and normal. But quite a few don't care. Just win - or we fire the coach.

I'm really not sure what you're getting at here, but just because that's the way it is doesn't mean i have to accept it and not have an opinion about it.  Where are you going with this?

When someone is at a loss for any point of substance to add, they'll throw the grammar card.  It's kinda of like throwing in the towel.  They have nothing left, so they'll try to find something of no significance in what you wrote and try to take a final shot at you.  Kind of like a defeated sore loser.
