NY Times, CNN, ect. all were sharing the photos and people on the ground saying "see the croud is really small u guys. hmmkay." it's nothing but a little game they're playing and whats sad is you and others believe it. now that its proven false or in the very least misleading, now its irrelevant. how convenient.

Actually, if you look at the graphic comparing the crowds, it's pretty clear that the photo of the recent inauguration was taken at a much
later time than the earlier inauguration. The Capitol building faces west. In the photo from 2009 you can clearly see that sunlight is coming from the south more strongly than any other direction which is consistent with where the sun would be at this time of year.
In the 2017 photo, the sunlight is coming more strongly from the west which would indicate that the photo was taken at a later time than 12:00.
