Alabama and Oregon both blew out their opponents.  Cant imagine 1 and 2 will change.  Was surprised to see them drop FSU behind Oregon two rankings ago.  I wonder if they'd drop them again behind Miss St.  You watch these games and it seems like FSU is hanging out for dear life at this point.  You just get the feeling its only a matter of time before they lose.  Regardless, even if the order changes, you have to imagine teams 1-4 will stay in the top 4.

I'm interested to see what happens with TCU, Ohio St, and Baylor.  TCU had the week off.  Ohio St didnt look good against Indiana before pulling away late in the game.  Baylor looked great blowing out Okie St albeit a bad Okie St team.  Barely lost to FSU and then struggled to beat Iowa St and Kansas and now have lost a bunch in a row.

I think this might work itself out.

Also, FSU is really just keeping a better team out at this point.

What makes you say that? They keep winning. Isn't winning all that matters?
What happens if Mizzou wins out and beats Alabama in the SEC championship game? Alabama would be out of the final 4 and Miss St. would be in without winning their conference, nor their division.

Achilles probably buys into that BS philosophy of "game control" ESPN and the committee are trying to push out now.

The more FSU wins, the more mad he gets.

no. ive said this in various places but FSU is barely beating teams like BC.... ND.... stuff like that. they havent lost but just because they havent lost doesnt mean they are better than teams that have lost. If every team in college played the same exact schedule, and FSU was undefeated I would absolutely say they deserve to get in and deserve to be #1.

watching them play you can just see that they arent one of the top 4 teams. Bama, Oregon, TCU, Miss St, Baylor, and Georgia I would say are just overall better teams. I'm weary of Baylor though just because of past experiences but can't really weigh past seasons on a different team.

FSU is pretty much on par with Ohio State for me.

now there is no point in the same 4 FSU idiots replying with "27-0 haters gonna hate" or "but florida sucks!" because they doesnt change anything about the facts.

Georgia? LOL. The same Georgia team that got prison raped by Florida a few weeks ago?

the same FSU team that barely beat ND who lost to Northwestern?

Still won the game. Still undefeated. Still taking care of business every week. Only team in the country that can say that.

just disregard that fsu has struggled against teams that lose to the likes of colorado state and other inferior programs consistently.

I shouldn't have to even mention it. It's obvious we've struggled. It shows how dominant last years team really was, and I think that's why FSU keeps getting disrespected in the polls.

Either way, we're the only team in the country that's finished every game. But apparently that doesn't matter anymore. Game control is the new thing.

being good is the thing. if FSU was that good, they wouldnt have all these nail biters.

Doesnt that depend on the criteria for choosing the 4 best teams?  If winning is all that mattered then why isnt Marshall in there?  Obviously who you play and how you look is also a factor.

Obviously a team like FSU who is undefeated in a power conference is a lock even if you dont truly believe they are one of the four best.  But just because you are undefeated, that doesnt mean you are as good as a team with one loss.  Especially in college football where the schedules are so different.  So again, what is your criteria for picking a four team playoff?  who you truly think the 4 best are?  the 4 who "deserve" to go?  Or some combination?
Doesn't it also depend on which team is playing the best at the end of the season? If you want to match up the 4 best teams in the playoffs it should matter how you finished coming down the stretch.

Take advice from your fellow Florida fan:

I agree with you, so calm down cowboy.

And I've discussed my criteria quite a bit on here, along with discussing why I think 8 teams > 4 team.

11-0 is 11-0
I think FSU has been good this year...people seem to forget that we lost 7 players to the NFL in this past draft (18 in the last two)...all of them were starters.  So 1/3 of our starters last year were drafted (not counting back ups like Wilder, ect)...and we lost others to graduation, transferring, ect...We are playing two true freshman WRs a lot...not to mention a lot of the players that left were considered leaders on the team.  That is a lot of turn over on a team in one year and yet they keep over coming it and winning games.

Then you think about ALL of the off field issues/distractions (and yes I know that 99% of them are self inflicted) and it is amazing that this team is still winning...close ones or not.

People want to say that all of these other teams would blow out FSU...but FSU has been down to multiple (top 25) teams only to come back and win the game...I also love how people like to say it's all about who you play...well you can only play who is on your schedule.  Do you think Alabama, Auburn, Oregon, ect are trying to schedule home and homes with FSU?  NO...because they are afraid to lose the game in the regular season...and thus fall out of the CFB playoff picture.  And yes a million years ago FSU could have joined the SEC but they didn't...and you know what if the reports are correct the SEC don't want them to join now as they reportedly were open to joining during this last expansion.
