If it was the BCS, we'd be #1 and Alabama would be #2. If you're creating fictional realities that have never and would never exist where the current committee setup is used to select just two teams, then sure your point stands.

I'm not shocked that you didnt get the point.
So your point wasn't that he should care more about the conference strength because being #3 instead of #1 in preliminary committee rankings really matters. In that case you might try being more direct.
Anyway, UF's conference's impressive history won't matter a bit when we beat them up on Saturday.
