UF also is a larger University student body wise than FSU.

Traveling to Gainesville for a game is a lot easier than traveling to Tallahassee for a game as well.

Florida State may be the defending national champion and Miami may have the most championships among state teams, but Florida bleeds Gator orange-and-blue. Gator territory extends from its north-central stronghold into all parts of the state except the panhandle, which is Seminole territory, and of course the Miami area. Perhaps most impressive, Florida also claims much of northern New England. And props to Central Florida, last season’s top-ranked midmajor, for carving out a pocket in and around Orlando, where its campus is.

why is it harder to travel there btw?

Gainesville is more centrally located. It's an hour drive for probably a good majority of Gator fans. Tallahassee being in the panhandle, and a lot of our season ticket holders live more south, is a little more challenging. A lot of times people can make a day trip out of going to a UF game. For the majority of FSU fans, it requires a whole weekend for a trip to and from Tallahassee.

I think he saw the at Wake game.  It was 32k.  In Jax, they only had 46k the year after against Colorado.

These are excuses...just like you give for Jameis.  Next.

Blah blah blah....this is so stupid.  If you are a fan of a team you will travel to go see them.  What's the difference of me driving close to 2 hours to see UF and driving 3 hours to see FSU?  There's really nothing, except your excuses.

Serious question...how dumb are you? Traveling to Gainesville for a game is easier because of location. It's not an excuse.

It's almost pointless to even have a conversation with you because apparently every answer I give is an excuse.
Quote:I remember quite a few empty FSU games a few years back, anyone saying otherwise is lying.
Exactly. More empty then in the swamp. The main point being their Gator bandwagon claim is bogus.

Always an excuse. Smaller stadium, should be easier to fill

No matter how you try to spin, it's an excuse.

And your original point has been completely shot down.
Everything is an excuse to the Gator tards. But everything you say is fact, right trav?

Ive posted fact. You've spit out excuses and wrong info on here. What can I say ?

Oh yeah, you've posted facts alright one of which was completely dis-proven.

Trav are you being deliberately obtuse or are you that unintelligent? He was arguing that due to UF's stadium size they could account for more ticket sales and thus "more butts" in the seats over a given season. If FSU sold out every game and UF did as well you would have an overall higher attendance than FSU due to a larger seat capacity. Then again you are a gator fan....enough said.

How dumb are you to think that driving an extra hour to go see the team you supposedly root for really isn't a big deal.  You are full of excuses, but they are all lame.

If I had to drive to see the Jaguars, who cares if its two or three hours?  Does that really make a big difference in the grand scheme of things?  In your case it does because you can fit it into your agenda that the Seminoles can do no wrong.  Pathetic.

At what point does this constant name calling get a warning?   :woot:
