Quote:I was actually talking about PSU WRs and their NFL production.
The two former PSU WR's had 9 combined career receptions. It doesn't get much worse than that.
Quote:Dude, at least it's just a stress fracture to the foot. That doesn't sound like something that could potentially be a recurring injury. I'm no doctor, it just doesn't sound like a big deal moving forward...
AR15 is awesome. He'll be missed.
2 years in a row of losing a WR at the bye... It's almost to the point where these things should just be expected as normal
It depends on the type of stress fracture.
Hopefully, like you expressed it won't turn into a recurring injury. I'm sure there's going to be more details about the injury in the coming days and weeks.
Damn only consistent 3rd down target is gone.
Although not Hall of Fame caliber by a longshot,,
I'd say OJ McDuffie and Joe Jerivicious were pretty good. McDuffie was probably the best out of the PSU WR in the NFL.
Bobby Engram had his moments (albeit not too many).
Allen Robinson could wind up the best PSU WR to produce in the NFL.
I cried a little... Hope the best for AR15
Wow, the bye week whooped our [BLEEP].
Quote:Man.... Some teams just can't catch a break.
"Catch" and "break" in regards to an injured receiver.
Skillz

And that's all for the night folks!
Quote:Classless Bye Week. Always headhunting our players.
To think I use to hate on the cheapness of the Texans defense. This darn bye week has decimated our WR corps.
Per rotoworld:
Quote:Jaguars lose WR Allen Robinson to broken foot
Allen Robinson | JAC
(November 11, 2014 1:39 PM EST)
Jaguars WR Allen Robinson is done for the season with a broken foot.
Robinson is unsure when he suffered the stress fracture, but alerted the team following Sunday's loss to the Cowboys that his foot didn't feel right. It's a gut-punch to Robinson, but as long as he's not dealing with a Lisfranc problem or Jones fracture, he should make a quick recovery and be ready in plenty of time for OTAs. There was no reason to push Robinson back out there in a lost season. Robinson's rookie season ends with 48 catches for 548 yards and two touchdowns. He'll reenter 2015 as the favorite for No. 1 duties. In the meantime, the Jaguars will get a longer look at Marqise Lee.
Quote:the excuses for Gus will run out soon enough. It's his job to provide the talent. NEXT MAN UP! they all get a check
It's not his job to provide the talent. You do understand the role of a GM, right?
This all but guarantees we don't win any "unnecessary" games and ruin our draft position. May be a blessing in disguise.

The tank is officially on.
He got a solid 10 games experience and showed he could be a reliable starter. Not a waste of a rookie year at all. Now Marquis can step up and show what he can do.

I just don't see how our offense can be productive without him. No other receivers step up. Maybe BB will develop a rapport with Lewis when he comes back. That is our only hope for any offensive production IMO.
Hopefully it's a quick recovery and he's good for TC next year.
I blame myself. I should not have been saying how great he played Sunday.
On a side note, I take back everything I said about Shoelace and McCray.
This really blows. People are right, how do you lose on a bye week? He was our best receiver with targets/catches/yards. Blakes going to have to lean on Hurns/Lee.

Well…. CSIII did just have a 5 catch 119yd game. I think Blake may lean that way a bit as well.
Oh, man. That was a gut punch. I don't think we'll win any more games.
