This team is in a coma.


Good call.

Is Gus doing the best he can with the tools given? That's the question of course.

Something is wrong with this organization, besides the players.

We look like a junior varsity team in all aspects,the flashes from late last season are becoming

a distant memory.

You may be on to something...

we saw some good things out there..

 

there were some opportunities..

 

we're out there learning..

 

it's a process..

What exactly is Gus doing well? Tackling is so horrible across the board on Defense. Its pitiful. Especially Cyp- what the hell is he doing? Either he's not listening to the coaches or he's being coached terribly.

I'm beginning to question if I want my future kids to endure this pain my mother bestowed upon me from buying the cheapest jersey at the flea market...


25 years later I'm a dedicated Jaguars fan who is depressed every sunday and filled wifh emotions of joy and sadness in such frequent flashes I don't know how my heart hasn't stopped...


Besides my rambling... I had full faith in Gus... My middle name is Gustav I thought it might have been a sign... But there is no going back to back horrible seasons...


I don't want to see us spend a bunch of money on old FA just to compete like the raiders... I do believe Caldwell is hitting on picks although luke is playing awful and might be a bust he's been solid with his picks...


Gus has to go... And all the coaches as well...

When terrible players meet terrible coaches, this is what it looks like in the NFL. The league is DESIGNED a to make teams be close and competitive. When you aren't that and are this uncompetitive, it's coaching AND players.


Seriously, no kidding I would make the move this week because of the bye.

At this point we are spinning our wheels. This team isnt even close to playing anything resembling modern football.

You can't have inexperience across the board.

 

If you're going to put together such a young team, it would have been better to have an experienced coach that knows what he's doing.  

 

I'd take an experienced head coach and an offensive coordinator who's offense doesn't belong in college, please.

So far, Marks is the only decent FA.  And Joeckel and Cyp are busts so what we can judge regarding early draft picks isn't looking so hot.

It is tough to point every finger at Caldwell right now. There is still a serious question of if it is coaching or just lack of talent.

 

Edit: I will say though, Caldwell's free agency pickups are MAJOR cause for concern.

Agreed. Add Caldwell above him for supplying the talent.....or lack thereof
