Very deep in RT why go as high as the 2nd round at a non premium position when the team really needs a CB (premium position) that is if they dont use a 1st round for CB which I'm hoping happens especially if they can trade down and get another low 1st round pick or high 2nd.  I think DE isnt as critical since Clemons is healthy and has another year in him, and Chris Smith showing promise along with Branch and Davis getting at the QB....

Geno Smith has been up and down and JT Thomas has proven to be good depth for Poz, but DE/OLB (or LEO) could be taken in the 1st or 2nd thats always a possibility....

I think DB is the biggest concern after watching this team this year on Defense & overall.  If they can get a great CB or Safety in the 1st round they should do it.

On offense the line needs help... might need FA in addition to drafting.

I wouldnt be suprised to see a RB taken in 3rd though.

I think going after Rahim Moore or McCourtey makes a lot of sense.  If that was addressed and McCray and Colvin coming on, I don't see a huge need for grabbing a DB very high.

I'd also argue that drafting a tackle can be a premium position as stud DE's line up everywhere and the RT can also move over to LT (which IS considered a premium position) if they become better than what we have or an injury occurs.

Get a veteran guy like Bryan Bulaga, coupled with another offseason for our younger guys and I think you will see a totally different O-line than this year.  If Pastzor is healthy then tender him as a backup/swing guy.

Id like the team to sign Bryan Bulaga, Mike Iupati, and draft the best available o-lineman in the 2nd and third rounds. Draft the best available DE in the first.

If we could somehow do all that and also sign Devin McCourty......Man it feels nice to live in fantasy land.

I can condone this!
Quote:There are going to be some good RT's in the second round.  Would make a lot of sense to go DE/OLB with our first pick then RT with our second.

Agree.  Pass rush/secondary with the first.

Lineman/OLB in second/third, whichever is the better value.
I would argue that RT is a premium position in today's game, but my opinion means nothing.

I think Pasztor would make a quality back up, but there's got to be a more legit starter for us at RT out there somewhere...

^This...

And Pasztor is not the answer.  I'll take another Linder if we can find a good RT in the draft.
Pasztor never was the answer.

With the serious injury he sustained - he will spend most of his offseason just learning to walk normal - much less run or gain strength.

There's no way he comes back stronger in 2015.  He is a guy I'd keep around for the long haul - but we should consider RT an area of serious need which needs to be upgraded by either a veteran or a talented rookie.

Pasztor is back-up talent at best. Hard for me to believe that we can't find 2 guys that are better than what we currently have there.
I would not disappointed if we used our first 3 picks on the OL, and let them all compete for spots.

Like SuperJville said, Pazstor is done. Had a broken hand all season and now a torn hamstring? I think he will take atleast two years to fully recover. RT needs a huge upgrade. Bowanko and Linder are solid, but Joeckel and Beadles shouldn't feel safe.
