I have to think about who would help this team win. I wish I could take two because I'd also take Mike Peterson, but if I could only have one it would be Fred Taylor.

Quote:It's unfortunate that Justin Durant's season ended. Durant was having one of his best seasons and was a major reason why the Cowboys Defense was improved this season.
There are still a number of former Jaguars on the Lions 53 man roster:
1. CB Rashean Mathis ( starting RCB )
2. DT C.J. Mosley ( He was having a very good season before his recent 2 week suspension by the team. ).
3. S- Nickel CB Don Carey. A Backup in both roles. A very good Special Teams player.
4. LB Julian Stanford ( Began the season on the Practice Squad. Was promoted after injuries at LB occurred. Has to cut down on Special Teams blocking penalties. ).
This doesn't even include 3 former Jaguars Assistant Coaches that are on Jim Caldwell's staff and the former Jaguars G.M. having a significant role in the Lions Front Office.
I learned recently about CJ Mosley being on the Lions. On the radio I heard Shannon Sharpe talking about how spectacular CJ Mosley has been on the Baltimore Ravens defense. I was thinking, "who yet another player let go by Caldwell is excelling." But when I went to look into him I noticed that he was talking about a rookie MLB, and that our CJ Mosley is currently struggling with the Lions.
BTW, I'm in awe that Rashean Mathis is not only starting for the Lions, but that he's doing so for a defense that is by and large considered the best defense in the NFL right now.

I'd take Boselli to pair with Bortles. Fred or Jimmy wouldn't hurt.
I'm a little surprised no claims for MOJO yet.
These seem to be the big three and it's hard to argue against any of them. The one guy who I'm surprised no one has mentioned is Big John Henderson. I like Roy Miller, but having Henderson Marks and Bryant in the front four would be crazy.

MJD was great, but if we are gonna bring back a RB, why choose him over Fred Taylor?

I'd take Daryl Smith in his prime. He is so athletic and had great range.

I think some people became Jaguars fans after we cut Taylor.
