Can't wait to see what this guy can do. Many teams passed on him due to his injury. This could end up being the best draft in Jaguar history when it is all said and done.

Its reasonable to question the thinking of going too hasty with the return here. Initially it was widely assumed he'd have to be on IR the entirety of 2014. 

 

I just think the bye week made more sense. Give him a few more weeks to take it slow and ease in to practice.

Maybe they are giving him light practice with the intent to not actually play him until the bye?

I doubt they'd let him practice if there was significant risk.

Gus Badly at it again!

The press conference today said he would "likely begin practice on Wednesday on a limited basis."  

 

From that date - the Jaguars have 21 days to decide whether to make him fully active or to place him on the Active/Inactive list. 

 

 

So  -  obviously  -  the sky is falling. 

Makes sense.  Seems like they are going to ease him into practice over the course of the next 4 weeks with the intent of coming out of the bye with him on a gameday roster.  Remember, he still has to learn the scheme as well, so I don't think they'll just throw him out there until he's both healthy and ready.
