The season is all but over and we are currently tied with Oakland as the only 2 teams without any wins. Should we begin positioning for the best possible draft slotting?
*Disclaimer*
I, for one, don't believe in tanking but there are some on here who do. If you do believe in tanking at this point just make sure your aren't also criticizing the team after every loss. Don't be THAT guy.
Do we really have to try?

No
Go ahead.
We don't even need to try.
Just have Bradley keep coaching as he is. They'll lose.
To answer the question. No. The Jags have their QB now.
If they tank they'll be 0-16 instead of 1-15, in that situtation I doubt Bradley is still with the team.

Never. Never go into the tank. If they ever do, that's when I'll stop watching.
Good teams tank, bad teams lose all on their own..
Good Lord here we go again.
Sorry, id rather break an 0-6 record.
Tank for what? We've got a QB already, we need to establish a competitive, winning culture

Tanking is for losers no matter the position of need. No to tanking.
I find the fact hilarious that Bradley is so in your head that you cannot and will not be able to leave him out of threads that discussion of him is not the topic. It will provide great humor for us until the eventual ban for derailing.
With there being possibly as many as 4 early first round QBs this year (Mariota, Winston, Hundley, Petty) the potential for trading down for a windfall of picks certainly exists. So I understand both sides of the argument. Is 2 or 3 wins worth more than future early draft picks?
IMO, trying to build a winning culture should take precedent over the benefits of what a higher draft pick could provide the Jaguars. Losing is a cycle that's difficult to break. For a team to make a major jump forward, experiencing winning goes along way in making this a reality.

The Jags will likely get one of the top 2 selections.
I agree with your assertion, except that I don't see Hundley or Petty being all that much of a trade chip. They aren't that good.
The Jags will have to be selecting with either Mariota or Winston on the clock to be able to net a decent return of draft choices.
No. You only 'tank' when you lack talent all around, and can't get any. This team has talent now. I'll be highly disappointed if we win less than 3 games this year.

You mean that isnt what the team was doing already? Dang then the team just blows then huh?

Less than 3???
Theres no acceptable reason that they shouldn't be at LEAST 4-12 (same as last years mark).
Anything less than that and you should be highly disappointed.

Well TBH, that may very well work in the Jags favor. Lack of available potential franchise QBs should by definition drive up the cost of the 2 deemed worthy. But being in position to demand a trade remains key.
Stop with these threads. It's time to win. We have our QB, who do we tank for? An O-line? Get real.
