Through Week 6 of the NFL, rookie Blake Bortles is the most accurate quarterback under pressure when you adjust for drops. Not Aaron Rodgers. Not Drew Brees. Blake Bortles.

That's a very interesting stat and a very good one for us given how much pressure he's faced so far.
how a QB performs under pressure is probably the single most important trait as an indicator of how successful they will be in the NFL.

In the "How did Blake Bortles get so good?" thread I posted a You Tube video that shows amazing performances under pressure. It is hard to believe a college quarterback can do what he did at UCF.

But I will voice one concern I have with him...
This last game in particular I noticed him dropping the ball realllllly low in his wind up throwing the ball. Lots of wasted motion, and I'm afraid it might have something to do with DBs jumping his passes (aside from WRs getting no separation)
I mean a couple times it was really bad. Honestly it kinda reminded me of a certain Florida Gator QB we all love and miss.
Anybody else notice this?
Maybe you miss him..lol. Blake is by far a better pro than he who shall not be named.

He's probably been under more pressure than them all
