Good call. I overlooked Duke and AZ. Anything could happen in the NCAA which is the beauty of a one-game format.

I hope he has found peace, and that his family and friends find strength in this sad time.

Florida wins again last night, but they didn't make it easy.....again. Story of the season. Blow another huge lead, terrible at free throw line. Luckily they held on. This team is about 4 huge blown leads (Kansas, Miami to name a few), an own bucket, and timely free throws away from being an entirely different record. Frustrating.

I read an earlier article. Checking with others to see if what I read was right. They lose 12 scholarships over 2 years correct? 

Flipping though and see this UCF/East Carolina game on ESPNU. About 100 people there.

UNF will most likely be the only Florida team invited to the NCAA Tourney !!!  :thumbsup:

They are moving that tourney to Orlando next year.

The problem with that conference is the teams are so spread out. Unless it is a local team (or one of the others is highly ranked), the crowds will be minimal.

It was just as bad for the U Miami vs Notre Dame game last night at 9:30pm in Greensboro.

Yeah, the first rounds of most leagues dont get a good turn out.  There were some good finishes last night too.

Perhaps they should allow the higher seed to host the opening round of conference tournaments.  Pehaps they should do away with the neutral site all together.

VCU finally exorices the Richmond demon for this season. Now it's on to play the sharp shooting Davidson team tomorrow. Welcome to March!

Being 1 1/2 hours from Dayton, Go Flyers! Should be a good game. Both teams should be locks for the tournament.

The VCU Dayton games are always good, especially since Smart has connections to Dayton. Here's to hoping for another good game!
