On our way to 10-6  Banana

Guest

I'd expect this to start something. . . 10 straight wins? I'm down with it.
I chalked Cincy as an automatic loss. Not looking that way at this point.

Quote:Here are my thoughts on the rest of the season based on what we see now. I have us finishing 5-11.

San Diego - Loss. No explanation needed. It's gonna get ugly.

Pittsburgh - Loss. Will be entertaining. Bortles will keep it close. Home crowd will be energized.

Tennessee - Loss. We are both messes, but they are less of a mess at this point. We avenge this loss week 16.

Cleveland - Win. Bortles is starting to come around and we win our first home game of the year.

Miami - Loss. Coming off big win over Cleveland, the overly confident team gets upset.

Cincinnati - Loss. No explanation needed. CIN is in a different league right now. Reality check game right here.

Dallas - Loss. Don't see us winning in London.

Indy - Loss. Closer game this time around. This close loss will give us hope for next year in the AFCS.

NYG - Win. Don't know why, but I think we win this one.

Houston - Win. We are building momentum.

Baltimore - Loss. Momentum is gone after this game, but can close out the season strong against 2 weak teams.

Tennessee - Win. Bortles and the offense will have found his grove by this time.

Houston - Win. Media outlets will start talking about 2015 and the bright future of the Jags after Bortles torches Houston's defense in the final game.

5 for 5. Anybody want to take me to Vegas with them?
I still think the only win left is Tennessee at home.

6 for 6.

Give me some credit. Calling that Cleveland win is pretty impressive.

I'm not happy about it, but I'm inclined to agree with you on this. As a matter of fact, I don't know if I'd be willing to count on a win against the tacks at the end of the season either. For all the rhetoric about how this team is getting better we're still losing; in my book, W's vs L's are the only stat's that matter.

Predicting us to lose a bunch of games proves nothing.

Let's see how well you do once we get to the part where you predict wins.

Still think we get 5 wins. We are improving playing playoff caliber competition. This gives us hope when playing poorer teams.

Who really picked us to beat CLE? Come on.. give me some credit... it won't kill you.
If Weeden starts next week for Dallas then we have a chance to win.

No way. I don't see Gus having this team prepared to play overseas next Sunday.

Well, that,  and they'll also have to keep Murray below 150yds or so.  Run D was pretty good in the first half vs. Cincy, but didn't hold up the whole way.   (I know the big run skewed the numbers, but still not quite good enough) Dallas has a better run game than the bungles. It will be asking a lot of our D to keep it in check, IMO.

This D-line is definitely capable of forcing Weeden to make mistakes, but they'll have to slow Murray to capitalize.

(in regard to original topic -  I'm thinking 3 wins)

2-14 . Beat the Texans !

2-14,,,,,with some luck!

Our 2 win streak starts with NYG and HOU.

What? "Having this team prepared to play overseas" - what is that supposed to mean? Dallas is staying home? They aren't playing overseas?

I've heard of people complaining of "coach speak"; I guess this is "fan speak", especially if you don't like the coach.

I am saying that preparation is obviously an issue with this team. Doing it overseas isn't going to be any easier.
2 weeks ago, I posted that the Jags will most likely finish 2-14 or 3-13. I stick with that prediction.

Who really cares?  All I want to see is rookie's developing.  I'm seeing that.  Don't care what the record is.

You took time to post. You care.

See what happened there?
