If true, it's a good question although I suspect they're still wanting him to work on some mechanics. I remember them talking about wanting to establish those things in muscle memory.

Because there is a difference between mentally ready and physically ready. He may have a concern about the physical part that we are unaware of.

A more likely possibility is Bradley and Fisch are not ready to open the playbook because of concerns with the other 10 players on offense.

Since the whole team stinks, I'd rather him develop muscle memory running from DE's this year, and be that much more prepared when he has a descent line in front of him. It's not fair to let Henne take all the shots from the defense... if they keep Bortles away from contact he will become Gabbert.

Gabbert became our starter after only two games. How is keeping Bortles away from contact turning him into Gabbert?
I feel that Bortles will start the first game that he starts and not any sooner.

Book it.
What if they wait until the London game to start him?  HAHA.  That would not go over well with the local fans.

Breaking out our new toy in London would be a slap in the face to Jacksonville.

Yep

Enough of the Gabbert comparisons.

I don't see any chance of that happening. If coaches want to wait that long, they are thinking "after the bye week."

I get that they are waiting - and why..  but I cannot help being that fan that says "Start him now"!! Just for the record I am pretty ashamed...

Id vote, but i don't see the bye-week as a choice..

There is no reason you can't vote for Week 10 or 12.

Which one should i vote for? Which one did you vote for? Do I even get a vote? Can I vote by proxy? What about early voting registration? If I vote, I want a sticker that says I voted. I like feeling special..

I sent off for an absentee ballot.
I feel like the only reason they aren't playing Bortles yet is because the awful inexperienced OL

If the OL was decent they would more than likely play him with the awful play of Henne so far

Since this vote is occurring in florida, I'm assuming the worst.. Hangin Henne's..

Vote for the one you think is the most realistic date. I voted for Week 5 against the Steelers.

There will surely be a recount.  The runner-up will likely commune with nature and make a documentary on climate change.

That and the fact that wide receivers were blamed for a few sacks Sunday. It would help a lot if all three starting wide receivers, Marcedes Lewis, Toby Gerhart, and Austin Pasztor were healthy too.
