The reason why there is such a negative connotation with associating black people with appearances of certain animals stems from the belief we are not of the human race and have the mindset/ behavior of said animal(s) as we are being compared to.

I don't argue that it has racist connotations. I'm just arguing that if someone thinks they actually look like an ape, it doesn't mean it's racist because there's history there.

For what it's worth.. Trump's tweet response to Meryl Streep sure makes it sound like he was making fun of that disabled reporter.

That explanation when coupled with his physical contortions sure as hell looks like he was mocking the disabled guy.

He shouldn't have even replied to Meryl Streep except to say Hollywood is full of dishonest hypocrites, IMO. She is the lowest of the low when it comes to worthless liberal airheads, not even worth his time.

 

Then again, she, and Hollywood elites like her who have massive audiences and a microphone, never once attacked Obama on a personal level like this. So I can understand the need to set the record straight, even though most wont listen (or care).

Actually, you are right. Hollywood elites are so left in "La La Land" they WOULDN'T have a reason to attack Obama. Inside their cozy warm walls safe from the realities of the world, their only fears are a lack of transgender bathrooms and the presence of a firearm in their 10,000 sq foot mansion.

 

Obama did his best to protect their demands and lifestyle.

Eh I always hate this argument. No matter what someone says they are concerned about, someone  else can come in from the side lines and try to frame an argument that the person must not care about (insert heinous thing). You can't win.

"I wish Dumptruck was as concerned about the night club shooting in Turkey" etc. etc. etc.
