My hope is that we can hit a deep pass or two early, back the secondary off and then work underneath.
For Henne, whats that?.....a 15 yarder?

I thought that was for signing players off another teams PS, to keep from pumping info. You can sign/cut from your own at will.

NH3...

Mike Brown's sure gonna get a lot of work tomorrow. Wish the NFL still allowed Stick um at least for one game. ;-)

Quote:Not like Chad ever throws to Cecil anyway. Captain Checkdown finds the closest receiver possible.
Henne either force feeds Blackmon or checks it down. I look forward to Checkdown Chad this season.

Between Henne and the O-Line, I wonder if he'll throw a pass longer than 5 yards!

They figure this is one of their most difficult, if not the most difficult game on their schedule. The chances of winning were minimal so sit him out and hopefully finally able to contribute next week when we have a legitimate chance moving forward.

Given the most unusual circumstances of the top 3 WRs to start the game being rookies and given the uncertainty of the OL and being on the road, I wonder if Henne has a bad game, I wonder how it will factor in to eventually placing Bortles into the starting lineup.
Will they give him a pass for this, evaluate him normally or what?
I know much of it is predicated on when they think Bortles will be ready, but I have to think if Henne has some putrid performances, that would influence when to play Bortles over time.
