Rams are going to trade for him after that drive.

I wonder what the odds were that BG would throw the very1st TD pass in Levi's Stadium?

There he is throwing to a well covered man short of the sticks.

The announcers are slobbering over him so much that it's becoming uncomfortable.

Uh Oh, 3rd and long, not Gabby's forte.

Fumbles the snap, throws way short of the sticks on 3rd and long. Yeah, that looks familiar.

It's just decent etiquette.. Remember those certain kids who used to go to your school and be in those special classes? You just don't pick on those kids in that class, it's not their fault..

That stadium is cursed now......

Yeah, it was 3rd and a long 18. It's preseason for gosh sakes, draw up a play and throw the ball to the first down marker.

What do you have to lose? 3 or 4 yds when you need 18 is worthless, esp in preseason.

Thats what im saying, i'd be slinging that thing way down field.
even on his "best" game so far, Gabbert's YPA is roughly 6

CHAMPIONSHIP!

Does he seem hesitant to let the play develop, that's why the passes are too short. Maybe to anxious to get rid of the ball and take the heat off him?

A while back, somebody said it best on these boards: as soon as he gets the ball, he treats it like a hot potato

I think he just flat out sucks. Plays too scared.
I just can't do it, guys. Blaine Gabbert wasn't very good in Jacksonville but I can't seem to hate a guy even after he leaves. MJD, Gabbert, Mincey, etc... I understand guys like Aaron Ross or Hugh Douglas who took parting shots that were just disrespectful, but Gabbert wasn't good, but it wasn't like he didn't care. I don't know. His situation lead to Gus Bradley, Caldwell, and Bortles.

I don't hate him. I would love if he turned his career around. However, it isn't likely.
He's going to make the team at this point. Good for him

I can't blame you, I do the same. However there are people that do not feel / act like you and I.

Over in the Baseball thread there is a statement of literal hate for a pitcher. Even for shock value that's something that I don't think I'll ever say about someone whose sole relationship with me is via sports.

This is probably the most accurate description of Gabbert that I have read. THough you could substitute hot potato for live grenade

I have said pitcher in one of my fantasy leagues and he's singlehandedly costing me first place in that league and he's supposed to be an "ace".
