Arians had 12 games as an interim NFL coach in 2012 before taking the job in Arizona in 2013.

 

Hardly established as a successful NFL coach.

 

There's no indicia he would have come here, anyway.

It was pretty obvious that the good year the Colts had was thanks to Arians, Pagano is horrible.
