He took clomid which is generally used as a estrogen blocker when you are getting off of a steroid cycle, can also be used to treat male infertility but I'm not buying it!

Why aren't you buying it?  It's a common treatment.  His mistake was not going to the league first before taking the meds, but I don't really doubt he's telling the truth here.  That's an awfully personal bit of information to share with fans.

Given that Mathis's wife is pregnant now, I don't think he's lying.  But they have to suspend him -- otherwise a bunch of players could go out and be like "You know, I wanna get my wife/girlfriend pregnant!" just for the performance enhancing side effects.

The whole "beating someone when their at their best" is a noble idea but is silly IMO.

If we were competing for the division I might feel different, but we aren't so I'd rather be able to get an accurate gauge of where we stand in relation to the team we're chasing.

 

No doubt I'd like them to draft terrible players - but that's a different situation in my eyes.

Lets be honest here, why couldn't he get his wife pregnant. Because he was most likely on gear and his natural test production was severely shutdown, not the case in everyone, but i'd say more than not.

Clomid is normally used when coming off gear to help kickstart the htpa natural test production.
