Yeah men take it to recover from taking steroids just like Mathis. He couldn't have kids because his hormones were out of wack from taking steroids. If steroids showed up in his system as long as this stuff does, he would have tested positive for that also.

all signs point to a long history of steroid usage. Probably why he had a difficult time conceiving originally. If I had a guess, we will see a huge decline this season in his play. Huge decline.

I don't know if he was using for years, but it looks like he did last year.
Besides, they use it in cycles. They don't use it 365 days a year. Most likely, they re-up when the season ends and the NFL isn't as likely or capable in testing everyone. People have been roiding in the NFL for a very long time. I'd imagine that most people get away with it.
Mathis said he took the clomid for 10 days only and stopped when his wife got pregnant. I'm not a doctor, and I've never played one on tv...but I am a woman that's been pregnant so I've got that going for me, which is nice. So I do know how the whole getting pregnant thing works...
Unless clomid works INSTANTLY on sperm count (and it doesn't) there isn't enough time for him to have only been on it for 10 days for her to even have enough pregnancy hormone in her body to even know she was pregnant!! You don't get up the "morning after" and start taking pregnancy tests.
The math just doesn't add up when you listen to the story he's telling.

I read an article that says they don't randomly test during parts of the year and players know this and can plan their cycles accordingly. That's why it is so rare that guys get caught using roids.
Once you get caught using a banned substance then there is a mandatory amount of random testing they have to do year around. He will be tested too often to cycle anymore. His ability will start to fade like Merriman's.
I'm sure he knew using this drug to get his fertility back would probably be the end of the line for him football wise, but I'm also sure he felt the time had come to start worrying about the next stage in his life which is raising a family.

i know colts fans arent the brightest but in order for something to have quotation marks it needs to be an exact quote. thats kind of where those little pieces of punctuation got their name from. like ifi i say: colts fans are morons. you could say.... i dont like that guy because he said "colts fans are morons." but you cant say, i dont like that guy because he said "colts fans are idiots who make up quotes to try and defend their steroid juicing players."

It's approved only for women. Can men take it, sure. If that was the case though, he knew the process he would have to go through to get it ok'd. My guess is, there was a reason he didn't say a word.

The doctor told him that....what football player that knows the drug testing rules wouldnt automatically say ding, I need approval for this!?
