That's astounding.
Yup.
Bigger venue with higher ticket prices. Plus, they had all sorts of sponsorship deals over there.

That roof concept I thought was just a visor concept to help cool, right?....
I am hopng its not a "dome" kinda thing.
All the stadium really needs is a Dallas Cowboys (former stadium) kinda concept, so the direct sunlight is blocked to most of the fans, but its still hot/ humid enough to give the team a home field advantage in early Sept games.

I watched the whole thing. I read somewhere that NFL franchises rise and fall on a combination of 4 things: owner, GM, coach, and QB. But now I think that left out one very important thing: a top notch businessman like Mark Lamping.

You can find them cheaper, and you can find them more expensive. Depends on where you want to live.

Regardless of what the city does, I think Khan will go forward with the plans on his own. I suspect the city, especially this mayor, will happily go along with any plan that actually turns dirt and starts to convert the vacant lot into something worthwhile.

well the city does own the land. they could make it a fair deal. or want a lot for it. could make tax exemptions like they do for certain business to move to the area or not. ect.

FBT- Thank you very much for your in depth report. Outstanding work as always !
Does anybody have any information about the plan to dock the Adams class ship on the shipyards property as a museum?

One other thing that I lurrrrrve about Khan is his intolerance for ineptitude. As example, this quote from the homepage article:
<p style="margin-left:40px;">"...'You’re not going to have some of our ex-players come back and say they’re coming from a paid vacation in Florida,” Khan said, referencing an infamous statement made by former Jaguars cornerback Aaron Ross after signing with the New York Giants last offseason.

I think it was actually in the artist's rendering they showed yesterday...along with Khan's yacht.

Thanks. Saw it on Twitter last night. Looks good.

I don't like the fact that the Jags new station WJXT channel 4 did not deem the press conference as important enough to preempt their paid advertising. Where's the commitment at ch 4?

Not a great start for them. Action News sends a crew to NY to interview and meet with the draft prospects and has Bortles the night of the draft. Someone on Twitter asked Kouvaris why they didn't go. He replied with some snide remark like "the important people are in Jacksonville and going to NY would be pointless". Thanks for the feedback Ron.

We all know who he was referring to with the "important people in Jacksonville" are, ...at least in his own mind.

That's astounding.
That is good if you consider the Everbank Contract factoring in to 9 of our home games. Personally, I'd expect regular season games to account for more then 10% of the revenues given the lack of attendance and sales during preseason games.
