Quote:"It's just ridiculous"

You are LITERALLY the worst.

No one knows when it happened.

To prove nobody knows if or when it happened, a Jaguars fan would have to search videos of "Blake Bortles 2016 shoulder injury" or something like that and make sure the video was dated in September.

What?

All that would do is prove it happened in September...

No one knows, it could have happened in the off-season. Or he might not even be injured at all

This sounds like the Goggles thing you don't know how to use.

Or wants to use, in fear of being proven wrong.

I think it goes beyond that.  Opinion, fact, and speculation all seem to just elude discernment.
Quote:Maybe I'm misattributing but I thought people have been arguing his mechanics are bad due to injury?

As for the second paragraph, you're right we don't know, but the team certainly does and offseason plans should absolutely take it into account.

Injury or not, I just don't believe it's a significant part of his troubles. A part maybe, but not the driving factor.

Ive never thought his mechanics were bad because of injury. I think they were bad because of our cosching staff not keeping up with it this year and less time spent with House last offseason.

Completely agree.  If we armchair coaches can clearly see it out of the gate, it makes you wonder why it wasn't addressed first day of camp by the staff... and why he didn't do his own part to stay sharp in the offseason.  OTOH, perhaps they did attempt to address it but got nowhere (whether failure of effort or failure for the guidance to be accepted.)

Possible, I just dont have enough belief in guys like Olsen and Hackett for that to be the case personally haha. Hopefully he can get it turned around but this year has to have taken a large toll on him.

Yes I agree then.

I think his mechanics slipped because he thought he turned a corner with them and got a little lax with it.

It happened during the Lions game.

Yup, exactly. But when the coaching staff saw how bad they were and they didnt seem to do anything...thats bad. Very bad.
Quote:Nobody talked about him being one of the candidates for our HC job.
I talked about him first.
Quote:Dave said he's not going to force any player on a coach, including Bortles. If a coach comes in a tells Dave to get a new QB, Dave will see what he can do. So yeah, it's on the coach.

Trying telling that to a certain blogger at BCC. He seems to think Caldwell is a liar and will protect Bortles no matter what.

Well if Bortles continues to play like he did yesterday there won't be any need to protect him
