Quote:Which is exactly the point.

At most, a GM would give a report to an owner, and even then, nobody in the media or these message boards would likely have access to them.

Believe what you want.  Like I've said before, if you're not going to like the answer, don't bother asking.  Keep your head in the sand.

It won't be me crying and my head spinning because I can't understand what happened to Ted.

I do understand what happened to him, and I believe I've spelled it out quite clearly on several occasions.  If you're in denial and reject what I have to offer, I can't change that.  If that's what you want to believe, then you're surely entitled.

It's an asinine proposition for you to ask to be convinced of something you're unwilling to be convinced about.

Perception is reality.  Meaning, sometimes misperception is reality as well.
Quote:No, the real point is that we dont really know whether GMs are sold on him or not.

We'll see. Just 7 more days to go guys!

I know. I understand both sides of the argument.
I understand some people being down on Bridgewater as the #1 pick, or people not agreeing with the TMDs of the world who claim Teddy is the next Aikman/Luck prospect this year.

But some people reach so far it's funny.  Ranking Garappolo over Bridgewater is laughable.

Never was high on teddy even prior to pro day.

Was it something you read in The Onion?

You're looking for excitement, not efficency.
Pirk reeeeeeeally better hope Teddy doesn't turn into a franchise QB.

I find it hard to imagine, someone that moves around the pocket as well as Bridgewater, not turning into a solid QB.

Quote:newsflash: No current GM will give any reports to the media about anyone.

And if they do, they are completely meaningless because they may be out to deceive the public.

The former GMs that are on TV are laughable in many ways. Like I said, I would love to see some real tape break-down of a prospect where they cite their examples as to why they think a certain player will or won't succeed.

All the other stuff we hear is just nonsense.

I agree. Some of you are reading far too much into statements put out at this stage of the process. If it's not GMs trying to misdirect each other it's sports writers looking for new and creative ways to analyse players.

If you look carefully, I'm sure you can find an "expert" opinion to back up your own views. But please remember it's all just speculation. We won't know who was right for months or even years, so it's all a bit silly if you ask me.

He was considered the number one prospect by the media in February.

And I think in five years, we will be laughing about this even more.

Garappo-who?
