Todd Mcshay had Jevan Snead as the first pick a few years ago. He went undrafted.

ESPN's Todd McShay believes a swap of first-rounders between the Texans and Jaguars "would make sense."

NFL.com's Gil Brandt believes the Texans will trade the No. 1 selection, and Jacksonville is certainly an intriguing option. The Jaguars lust after a franchise "cornerstone," as McShay mentions, and would get it in South Carolina's Jadeveon Clowney. Meanwhile, Houston would move to No. 3 and select a "great player/fit in [Buffalo OLB Khalil] Mack plus [add] ammo to target a quarterback later in the first round." Keep an eye on this situation.

Todd McShay...

Thats where you should stop reading.
This board had Snead very high as well.   Prior to his last season.    So can't mock an analyst over one pick.

haha, maybe so, but I wasn't pushing Snead Wink
Just because McShay thinks it would be a good idea, that doesn't actually make it so.  McShay is pretty awful when it comes to prognosticating on anything Jaguars related.

Everyone misses once in a while.  Hell I like Brian Brohm a few years back

fixed.

McShay is horrible.

Arguably the worst TV NFL analyst there is.

Quote:A rumor would have to at least imply that the source of the information is coming from one of the parties involved.

A guy in the media saying he thinks two teams should do something doesn't qualify as a rumor.

Was going to say the same thing.  Glad someone else pointed this out though.

Considering the fact that the op started a thread today using The Onion as a source, completely missing out on the fact that it's a satyrical site, is it really a surprise he'd struggle to recognize the difference between a rumor and mere speculation?
Quote:Exactly.  It's not a rumor.  It's a guess.
It's not even really a guess. It's a, "what would I do" if given the opportunity.

The way it was presented is [BAD WORD REMOVED] journalism just to get hits on the site. We all fell for it. We clicked just to find out he was talking out his rear.
