not that I don't agree.. That'd be pretty scary combo but I do think Manziel will be good.

Well that's a pretty crappy contract y'all gave him then lol. He gets 18 million over 2 and 26 over three and can basically leave at anytime. I highly doubt that was the original contract you guys were trying to sign him to. I would have liked to have him but that contract gave him way to much leverage no matter what team he went too.


I understand you guys matched and had the money to do so but the difference is we don't have people requiring future contract in the next 1-2 years where as you guys do. That's where it hurts you guys.

I dont think Caldwell is finished in Free Agency. I think that was a great move to pursue Mack the way he did. I think it showed the entire NFL that the Jags wouldnt take the back seat in the AFC south any longer and that they are willing to pay big $$$ to do so. Me personally, i think they should focus CBs in the free agency they need more depth there and at WR.

I think that Brewster and Patrick Lewis will get a legitimate opportunity to compete for the spot. Who knows, maybe McClendon or Rackley show some potential at the position.
