I've now trimmed the list to actual interviews, coaches in the Wild Card games who cannot yet be interviewed, Bill O'Brien who may part ways with the Texans if they don't win their WC game, and a few college coaches as there was thought Caldwell might talk with one of them...

What's crazy is in spite of all the openings and names being put out there....no hires announced yet.

Are all the teams waiting until this weekend interviews and first playoffs to wind up?

I'm anxious to see some shoes drop.

There are no sure fire, gotta have him candidates this year. Looks as if teams are taking their time and interviewing a lot of people who would not have received interviews in the past.

 

Why rush? Might as well not overlook someone or something.

When the first coach gets hired it will be a dimino effect. They will start dropping like flies after that

What if all 6 teams are waiting for the first team and taking there sweet time.  And not one wants to be the first one?

I would think that Denver would be the next domino to fall.

  Mike McCoy apparently has a good chance of landing in Buffalo as OC if Sean McDermott becomes their HC.   Getting McCoy would be a huge addition for the BIlls.

That's a huge boost for McDermott if it happens. I think he's going to be a solid head coach. The bills could put together a nice staff.

It's looking more likely that Kyle Shanahan won't be getting a HC job this year,  though the 49ers situation is cloudy at best in terms of what direction they are going in.
