Manziel is a joke, doesn't have good pocket presence. He reminds me of Tebow and look what happened to him . Bridgewater is over rated and not impressive or a smart quarter back, he'll make it but will have problems. Bortles has heart for the game which equals success in the NFL. I hope Jacksonville picks him up.

Plus 70 completion rate begs to differ

With Huston trading Schaub we can assume they are going for a quarterback. That means Clowney falls to the Jaguars. "None" of the quarterbacks being mentioned are worth a 1st round pick. Until we have a center any quarterback we get stands the chance of getting hammered. Maybe not as bad as Gabbert but not good for development.
We "broke" Gabbert by putting him in too early behind a really bad offensive line. If we fix the line first there will be quarterbacks who will "want" to play for Bradley...

I just cannot come to terms with picking someone at #3 who MIGHT be good (not elite) over a guaranteed stud like Clowney.

This leaves the Jags with a choice of doing D (Mack?) or QB (Bortles?), trading down or picking someone like Watkins.

That's too bad because Bortles will be going to the Texans if the team was smart.

Quote:I think Bortles ends up being the best QB of this draft when all is said and done.
Nice...called this back in March. Hopefully it turns out.
