People who write manifestos don't have any free time. They are too busy writing manifestos. It's a Catch-22 that has stalled many revolutions before they even began.

I can see where that would be a problem!

You won't be able to put it down

I'm not saying profiling is fair to everyone, but if its going to save 2 to 300 lives....its for the better good.

Careful for the better good has been used throughout history to justify unspeakable actions

Either that or the ocean.  The ocean is pretty good hiding place.

Thanks

You're hired as my sideline posting editor.  I'm afraid it's an intern position and only pays a few "plus ones" per week  -  but the job is yours if you want it.

Took the conspiracy theory wackos long enough.

Ukrainian gold reserves loaded on an unidentified transport aircraft in Kiev’s Borispol airport and flown to Uncle Sam’s vault

One of my Russian mates sent me a link to a Russian news website and according to the  iskra-news.info  last night ,Ukrainian gold reserves (40 sealed boxes) were loaded on an unidentified transport aircraft in Kiev’s Borispol airport. The board took off immediately.

There are apparently new theories stating that the plane may have only been stolen, and the crew taken hostage, in order to use for an upcoming terrorist attack.

I can't find a link, but I remember hearing it on Fox and Friends this morning.

To try and support my post above, relatives have reported that they can still hear ring-tones coming from passengers phones.

What happened to Flight 370? Four scenarios fuel speculation among experts

Quote:Intrestingly when Malaysia Air had been asked for ACARS data, there has been no comment.

Originally an airline official said data was being reviewed but no response given since then.

Automatic Communications And Reporting System data sends coded signals to satellite or ground stations about aircraft performance.

ACARS data is what helped forensic analysts with the Air France crash.

Any anomaly detected by the algorithm is reported immediately.

This data could either be close held during the investigation or it ceased, which lends credibility to catastrophic in flight incident.

Any way it does not look like there will be a favorable outcome.
This is the information that is being discussed concerning pings from the aircraft hours later....to have the nexus of the SAR mission change almost 1000 miles to the east is unprecidented to say the least. There are scenarios that could have incapcitated the passengers and crew and the aircraft continue flying, either by itself until fuel exhaustion or under control of others.

This one is a head scratcher.
