After Johnny's press conference at the combine, Bill Polian had this to say:

"My views on him (Manziel) based on viewing film and being up close and personal with him, he's a winner, above all he's a winner, he's tough, he's resourceful, he has a very good arm, he's got very good accuracy and anyone that says he doesn't is wrong IMO, he's got incredible ability to avoid tacklers, he's got better than average speed, he's got incredible balance he can run through tackles, and he's a smart and dedicated football player!"
Sure thing Wiseman....

When someone doesn't have the same opinion as you, there must be some hidden agenda behind it....
Lets not forget that college football is not the NFL. Being a "competitor" does not automatically equal success.

.....that was my point.....

Neither does being a "decision maker" in college

full field decision making while being a competitor translates a lot easier to the NFL then just being a competitor

Have to agree with Bill here. He is spot on.
I don't disagree with Bill and some team is going to take the risk on Manziel...I don't see it being this team and I really hope we don't.  At least not at pick 3.

At this point I only wouldn't take Manziel over Clowney. He is my favorite of the available QBs, not that I would be upset about drafting TB. I just would be more excited about Manziel.

Can be said for a couple qbs in the draft, Jameis
So is Houston going Johnny Football?

No. It looks like Teddy Bridgewater all the way.

Or Jadeveon Clowney, Blake Bortles, Johnny Manziel, or a  trade down. There is so much smokescreen coming from Houston nobody knows what they want to do.

Actually he was telling the truth. You call me the wrong name and refuse to explain why. Bums do that.

I always thought bums live on the street or are 30 yo leaving with their mamas???

How could commenting on a message board qualify being a bum?
Pollians son Chris is second up to Caldwell in our scouting department... This probably means the FO thinks the same! SCORE, Johnny Manziel sounds like a top 5 QB, Teddy sounds like a guy who is good but not great (Alex smith, Matt Stafford, Matt Ice)

Did you really just arrive to that conclusion????

Dang kid, did you finish your homework?
Manziel is an intriguing prospect. He comes off as having a bit of an attitude about him. I consider his draft position to be a bit hard to predict. Does he have Phillip Rivers attitude? Doug Flutie attitude? Kerry Collins attitude? Or an attitude unlike any other we have seen? I found it interesting that Brett Favre likened Manziel to a young Brett Favre a few days back. You could see that comparison, he is different from what most would consider prototypical, as was Favre.

I expect Manziel will make it beyond the top twenty picks in the first round, at which point some team will work a deal to move up from the early to middle of the second to select him somewhere in the twenties of the first. If he does make it to the second round, I feel the Texans may have a hard time passing on him.
