The only way DC takes a serious look at Watkins is the day they officially give up on Blackmon.

I'm just speaking in general about the way behavior gets rationalized when someone wants something from the person they're rationalizing over.

Gabbert with Watkins, Blackmon, and CSIII and Denard Robinson might develop into something special.  Wow!   Gabbert, 5,000+ yards passing, 50+ TDs, 68% completion.

I wouldn't be mad if it happened, because I like Watkins, but I don't think it will.

Blackmon is going to be back. He will be on a very short leash. Dont give up on the kid, he's what...23 years old? Ray Lewis killed a guy and he is one of the most glorified players of this generation. That being said, if Clowney and Bridgewater are both gone, I could seriously get behind a WR corp of Blackmon, Shorts, Watkins and Ace

This team lacks playmakers, and Watkins is an absolute playmaker. If Clowney is gone and the remaining QBs don't excite Caldwell, Watkins would not be the worst choice. Watkins, Shorts, and Blackmon in the slot would be pretty dynamic.
