He is only a tempting pick if both Jadeveon Clowney and David Caldwell's favorite quarterback are gone.

The only way DC takes a serious look at Watkins is the day they officially give up on Blackmon.

Hearing Gus Bradley talk about him, we know there is zero chance of that happening. Gus called him a good person who made a big mistake.

It's funny how society terms things.

Guy that's a total turd who has something they want? He's a GOOD PERSON who just MADE A MISTAKE.

Guy that could really be a good person that made a mistake but doesn't have something they want? He's a turd.

Or if they don't like the pass rushers and quarterbacks available at #3 and can't trade down.

People don't agree on the definition of turd.

I'm just speaking in general about the way behavior gets rationalized when someone wants something from the person they're rationalizing over.

I don't think we want to trade down.

Gabbert with Watkins, Blackmon, and CSIII and Denard Robinson might develop into something special.  Wow!   Gabbert, 5,000+ yards passing, 50+ TDs, 68% completion.

When it's all said and done, Gabbert won't crack 50 career touchdowns, much less 50 in one season.

I wouldn't say it's impossible. There's always the CFL.

Who is Jadeveon Clowney's favorite quarterback?

I wouldn't be mad if it happened, because I like Watkins, but I don't think it will.

Blackmon is going to be back. He will be on a very short leash. Dont give up on the kid, he's what...23 years old? Ray Lewis killed a guy and he is one of the most glorified players of this generation. That being said, if Clowney and Bridgewater are both gone, I could seriously get behind a WR corp of Blackmon, Shorts, Watkins and Ace

This team lacks playmakers, and Watkins is an absolute playmaker. If Clowney is gone and the remaining QBs don't excite Caldwell, Watkins would not be the worst choice. Watkins, Shorts, and Blackmon in the slot would be pretty dynamic.

We gotta take Khalil Mack imo.
