The Browns just cut D'Qwell Jackson, I don't think Mack makes it past the Browns

,,,yeah, and Rotoworld just put out a blurb stating that they expect the Texans to show strong interest given their new DC Ray Horton loves Jackson calling him a coaches dream.

Rich get richer.

Rich get richer?

Yes. Did you read what I wrote? The Texans getting Jackson would be the rich getting richer. Their defense is already stacked.

Their defense is decent but not great.  Outside form Watt and Jonathan Joseph they dont have much.  Cushing is always hurt, Swearinger gets beat and penalized on the regular, and Antonio Smith is past his prime.  It definitely isnt the rich getting richer.

Outside from Watt you seen the Texans defense go in the decline the 2nd half of last year.

D'Qwell Jackson was average last year and is going to be 31 by the start of the season. It's really not worth getting worked up about in any fashion.

He's from Seminole, Florida.

What about the Bucs?

Love Dqwell. .. he went to UMD when I went there. Great guy.

With that said, his best days are behind him but it wouldn't surprise me if hes got 3 years left in the tank.
Wow he's 31 already?.... I think he'll have a better season this year as opposed to last being another year removed from the surgery...but at that age, decline isn't too many years away. I thought he was younger than that.

He was absolutely worth loving for a long time, but not anymore. He will be a contributor for a while longer but not an impact guy, and not something that should be worth wringing hands over.

Dude has been around for a while.
@ryanohalloran: Gus said Khalil Mack would be more of a Leo in jags scheme.

Perhaps I'm the only one that recognizes the drop off in the Texans performance once Cushing got busted for Roids.   Amazing how when someone gets busted, that players performance suffers along with the performance of close teammates.  Ranked #22 in Yards against the Rush.

He's a perfect fit.
Does anyone argue that as of right now Mack isn't the pick?

It wouldn't shock me...but the smarter option if available, would be to trade down instead of selecting Mack @ 3.
I think the Rams take Mack

Every year without fail a large segment of every fan base yells 'trade back, get more picks, get better value for whoever you're targeting', yet it rarely happens. Maybe the conclusion should be that it's just not nearly as simple to trade down as everyone thinks and stop clamoring for it.

That would actually be a surprise.

The Rams need a WR more than anything.
