Quote:I'll second the 401k match comment. If you're not putting in the amount that's getting you the maximum company match, you're doing yourself and your future a disservice. It's one of the only risk-free returns you'll ever be presented with, so take advantage of it. If you're stretched thin and can't see yourself being able to afford it, I'd do some serious consideration on what your priorities are and make sure you're not choosing immediate gratification in some other aspect of life where you could be able to cut back to make those additional contributions to your 401k instead. It's that important, as is a firm understanding of the time value of money and compound interest.

Started mine at 24 with a 5% match. I feel accomplished!!!

To be honest.....that show is horrible. Humorous at the absurdity, but horrible. But yeah, I have watched it in the past.

I love when the potential baby daddy claims that there is no way he's the daddy because they only slept together once!! I want to show up and smack them on the side of the head and ask them if they know how babies are made!!!!
Does anyone here have fridge/freezer with a No Frost or Anti Frost function and how much noise does it make?

Yes...and not much at all. I have both a fridge/freezer combo and a stand alone freezer. They both are fairly quiet.

Define fairly quiet. Would you hear it in the next room with the door open?

No. The loudest is when the compressor (or whatever they have) kicking on... a small rumble type noise. Other than that it more of a low hum kind of noise.

What is yours doing?

It's not doing anything. Mostly because I haven't bought it yet. I have a fridge that came with my new apartment but I think it has a worn bearing somewhere because the noise is driving me up the wall. The compressor is even louder.

I found a really nice fridge for cheap but it has a No Frost function for its freezer, the sales lady on the floor said it doesn't make much noise at all but I wanted to double check to make sure she wasn't trying to pull a fast one.

Hence me asking here. Though it remains to be seen if that's really any better.
If you find yourself feeling like everything is going wrong for you. Watch an infomercial.
If you want to feel real good about yourself, go to the Pecan Park Flea Market.
