Gus and company declined doing it last year. Should they consider it this year?
As much as I'd love to watch it, I'd prefer it if this distraction didn't come to town.

Agreed. However, if we are going to be forced to do it, they might as well do it in a year they aren't expected to be all that competitive.
If we end up with Manziel, I guarantee you the show will be here.

I agree, that we don't need that sideshow. But if they are made to do it, guess I'm getting HBO for a little while lol (or borrow HBO GO lol)

This lol
Im on the fence with this. As a fan, It would be amazing to watch with a new QB in town, Blackmons return, possible top talent FA signings, and Bradley's personality on stage. It could help national perception that this truely is a new culture/team here. Kahn, Bradley, and Caldwell have to understand that at some point, Its needed for business to have a good reputation outside of your own town.

With that said, There is a time and place for everything. We got the place but is it time to "reveal" the new Jaguars to people around the world? Should we wait till we "catch fire"?

Maybe not this year but soon, The Jaguars need to be on this show

Everyone inside the organization raves about Caldwell and Gus, including the players saying how much they love being here.  I get the impression that most of the players watch the show also.  I think it would be a great recruiting tool for future free agents to see how great the organization is being run and see for themselves how much respect the players have for Gus and Dave.  Who here hasn't watched Gus and immediately wanted to run through a brick wall for him after he spoke.  Imagine that for several weeks in a row getting a promo video for the Jags organization.  I'm willing to bet a lot of players would watch that and want to be a part of what the Jaguars are building.

I'm all for it...mostly because I can't get enough Jags and want to see more.
If we take Manziel at 3, I'd bet money they choose us (Unless it's chosen before the draft)

What exactly are you going to distract this team from? They're rebuilding, it's not like they have some sort of high expectation that they'll fail to meet due to this "distraction".

This is one of the few harmless things that can get people interested in Jaguars football.

I'd watch it.

I agree....I'd rather us do this now than before a season that we're expected to compete for the SB or something.
Early stage of rebuilding, and your team is eligible to be on National Television? I mean, why not?

Better to do it now than later anyway. No harm in doing it really.

But I understand if they decide to decline.

As a fan who'd like to see more of my team, I'd be thrilled if they were on Hard Knocks.

I get that it could be a distraction, but come on - seeing Dave and Gus working together behind the scenes would be a treat.  Plus IMAGINE Vito Stellino's constant camera-bombs going national via HBO!  Dude just loves to avoid the media pack by stepping right out into shot.

Sideshow Khan has the Jaguars booked for three more years of international barn-storming and we're worried about distractions coming to town?
I love how people complain about a "sideshow" coming here and pretend like it would actually affect our team's season and they wouldn't enjoy watching it.

These are obviously the "GET OFF MY LAWN!" neighbors.

It doesn't help us win any games.  So why do it?   We should be focused on winning games, not becoming TV stars.
