People talk about his attitude a lot, all I see is a competitive kid.. we need some attitude.. tired of our Qbs walking off the field with their head down and tails between their legs.

tinhorns won't be the only team getting their long term QB. Don't forget that.

What makes you sure he'll be there at 3?

Remember when Gabbert was the youngest starting NFL QB? Manziel is two months younger than Gabbert.

He's amazing. He has such rediculous talent. Twisting his body making accurate throws!
Escaping pressure just making things happen. He's a competitor he leaves it all on the field ! Fearless!
He always makes you feel like you can win! Draft him please.

I THINK...
Texans draft Bridgewater
Rams draft Matthews
Jags draft Manziel
I believe Clowney and Bortles will be fine fits for the Browns. I think the Browns will end up being happy with picking from that bunch. They won't warrant trading two 1st rounders for Manziel. The draft process player rankings will end up being.
1.Clowney
2.Bridgewater
3.Matthews
4.Manziel
5.Barr
But, we can only hope.

Well, thats because he's only a soph. Gabbert was a junior.

I'd be flat out stunned if the Rams actually stood pat and took Matthews with the 2nd overall pick.
Very happy, but stunned.

Quote:I'd be flat out stunned if the Rams actually stood pat and took Matthews with the 2nd overall pick.me TOO! UGGHHH TMD!!! The Browns have the 4th selection. The Rams are going to be like. We can still draft Matthews with the 4th overall pick and we can pick up an extra 1st rounder in the process? Why not?
Very happy, but stunned.
It's still a long way away. Hopefully the Browns know better.

Why? If they need a left or right tackle, he would be a good pick.

I'm sold.
There is definitely risk involved, bur I am all for it.
He is the opposite of Gabbert. That does it for me. He would make the QB position exciting to watch again.
Plus he's an [BLEEP]. There are players out there that everybody in the world hates- unless that player is on your team.
I don't remember the Jags having a player like that, and truthfully I think if enjoy that quite a lot.
So put me down for being on board with Manziel.

Everbank field will be rockin' like you've never seen it with this kid at QB.

Gabbert:
Introverted, clean-cut, nice guy, prototypical size and frame, football IQ (no instincts), unheralded college career, pedestrian stats, lack of big plays, crumbles under pressure, strong arm, insipid style...
Manziel:
Outgoing, rough around the edges, 'bad boy', slight/short size, plays instinctually, historical college, record breaking numbers, highlight reel plays on the regular, scrambles/improvises, average arm, MAD STEEZ...
Opposites...

Man I wish that I could be as good as most of you all at turning off my unbiased evaluation cap and completely enter emotional rabid fanatic poor judgement mode.
Because unbiased evaluation cap says a whoooole lot of what Johnny did tonight, and every game for that matter, is going to fail spectacularly and/or get him killed in the NFL.
Emotional rabid fanatic poor judgement mode says hell yeah excitement and troll gawd and screw it all and pick him 3.
Although I guess at this point Manziel is for sure going to be spectacular one way or another huh?

Put on your unbiased evaluation cap and show me a sure-thing prospect, and I'll show you a liar.
