While his attitude may or may not be a problem.. he clearly has talent, reminds me of Russel Wilson.

Teams run out of the shotgun so much that people have this idea that because he's short, he can't play in the NFL.

Manziel is FAR from my first choice at QB, but I'd honestly be happy with whoever the team feels can play QB except Mariota, who's going back to school

He is absolutely nothing like Russell Wilson except that he is short. Completely lazy evaluation if you really think that.

If you mean we take him in the third round then I'm all for it!
Fales is the poor man's Russell Wilson

Haha yes that too, if we take him in the third I'd be okay with him there.  But alas...

Fales is a poor man's poor man.
Not a fan of Johnny 'Football'.  I really don't see what so many people see in him.  He's going to be a project.  This team doesn't need another project.

Well pick your poison because most of the QB's are going to be projects aside from maybe Teddy.

They'll all take time to develop, but not all of them are projects in the way that Manziel is.
Teddy looks great, but he also struggled against better defenses. and by struggled, I mean he didn't put up lights out numbers. I'm not ready to crown him the next great thing yet. I really believe that the team that takes him (even if it's us) will be taking a chance that he can provide not only the ability to make throws with his rocket arm, but can he provide the necessary leadership in the huddle that we've lacked since Brunell was benched?

With that said, I vote no to Manziel in the first round. Second, maybe. Maybe.

So what's everyone going to do when and if you don't get the quarterback you have a man crush on? Gonna Eeyore out and complain for years to come?

If Teddy is taken, live with it..

If Manziel is taken, live with it..

If Carr is taken, live with it..

What if it's not a QB???

If we dont draft a QB in the whole draft, then everyone has a RIGHT to go full bore, pedal to the metal Eeyore and then it would be acceptable.. Hell, I'll lead the damn charge..

I'll be fine with it as long as it's not Manziel.  He's about the one I really don't want.  Honestly don't think Caldwell will take him anyway.

Actually if you watch them play they are very similar.  Similar heights, both mobile and like to throw the ball on the run outside the pocket.  Neither has the strongest arm in the world.  Both are great leaders and highly motivated guys.

You also just described Tebow.
I can absolutely see Caldwell bypassing the qb position in the first round. I also have a funny feeling about Johnny Football.
The Wilson comparison is ridiculous.

Wilson: technically sound

strong arm

accurate

good pocket movement (not scrambling)

Manziel is inconsistent in his technique which leads to problems with the zip and accuracy on balls. Manziel will scramble around when he could just step up into the pocket.

Manziel reminds me more of Garrard.
