Quote:Prather has seriously surprised the hell out of me this season. I remember just a couple years ago every time he touched the ball I was holding my breath hoping he wouldn't make some dumb pass or travel. Now it seems like he can't miss around the rim at all, and he is a pretty good jump shooter too. Really wish he wasn't a senior, but it has been great seeing him progress so much over the past few seasons.

Does anyone have any info on Chris Walker? I remember hearing he was gonna be ready around the start of the new year, and I haven't heard a thing about him in the past few weeks. Is he practicing with the team at all? I am really excited to see him playing out there.

Oh yeah, Dorian Finney-Smith has been an extremely welcomed addition to our squad. I know that this season isnt even halfway over, but next year we'll have Kasey Hill, Chris Walker, Finney-Smith, Michael Frazier and possibly Davon Walker in the starting lineup. Should be a pretty fun squad to watch. I think Davon Walker has the ability to become a really good player, hes got a lot of length, once he gets better control of the ball and works on his shooting I think he'll be a fun player to watch.

GO
GATORS!

First thing I noticed about Prather this season is that he came in way bigger than previous seasons. He really looks like he added a lot of time in the weight room. Dudes ripped.

I doubt that alone has helped him, just an observation. It can't hurt, but I'm sure he spent plenty of time in the gym as well.

And about your staring lineup, the assumption is that Chris Walker will be a NBA lottery pick. Don't get your hopes up about him next year.
Quote:Pat Dooley tweeted out that one of the associate AD's had texted him that as of this morning Walker still wasn't cleared for Saturday yet.

NCAA taking their sweet time.

They sure are. It's dragged out a lot longer than I had expected.

Damn, I didn't know he was that highly touted. I'll be honest, I don't watch any highschool basketball, but I did hear a lot of good things about Walker.

If he is really being looked at as that highly rated, then we need to get him out their pronto.
I think we can officially say uf is a basketball school.

TOUCHDOWN
VCU with a big Conference road win last night versus Dayton. When their Offense compliments their Havoc Defense, they are a fun team to watch.

Gators roll the Tide.

Loved it. Tennessee next this weekend.

No. It's the weekend. Sod off.
New polls just released. Gators jump from #6 to #3.

Come on Walker!

Come on Walker!

I'm starting to feel as if the NCAA will never clear him.
VCU with the comeback Double OT win! On the road!

Why don't y'all care?!?!?!

Because La Salle.

I know, I know. But they are a decent team. It's kind of fun to watch a lot of mid major basketball because "one and done" just doesn't happen. You get to watch players and teams grow and develop. Then again, you are watching a lower level of talent.
Walker Finally Cleared!! Will play next Tuesday against Missouri!!

I wish he were cleared a few days earlier. Probably would have played tomorrow at Miss. St.

edit- "Walker will end up sitting 12 games, according to a statement from the NCAA. The statement said that Walker received benefits from two agents and three other people. He will donate $270 -- the money received from agents -- to a charity and serve 80 hours of community service."

Florida played okay....and completely dominated Texas A&M.

Looking forward to watching Chris Walker play some next week.
New top 25 out, Florida stays at 3, Arizona and Syracuse flop at the 1-2.

For some reason, that poll took me to the week 4 Top 25.

VCU with yet another home win, this time it was versus the quite-possibly-but-probably-not-Satan-worshipping school known as Richmond. VCU is off to their best start ever! 17-4! But I'm getting concerned because they still have St. Joe's, St. Louis, Richmond again, and George Washington coming up.

Hmmmm, I clicked it and it says week 14.

VCU is at 28.
