Quote:For some reason, that poll took me to the week 4 Top 25.
VCU with yet another home win, this time it was versus the quite-possibly-but-probably-not-Satan-worshipping school known as Richmond. VCU is off to their best start ever! 17-4! But I'm getting concerned because they still have St. Joe's, St. Louis, Richmond again, and George Washington coming up.
Back when I was in my 20's, I used to run in pickup games with a few guys from St. Joes. There were a couple of courts, Alverthorpe Park and Roychester park (in the Philly burbs), where the best talent used to be. Games to 15, winner stayed. Man I used to love that, just ballin' with no coaches chewing you out for being too 'flashy'. If there's anything that I really, really, miss now that I'm older (OK....old) it's running in those pickup games 4 or 5 nights a week until they turned out the lights.
I'm not sure what that has to do with anything. Carry on.
Quote:Hmmmm, I clicked it and it says week 14.
VCU is at 28.
Yep. Worked for me that time. It's good to know that dementia is setting in early. This way, I can get it over with.

Good deal.
Im keeping an eye on Arizona and how they handle the Ashley injury.
The Gator's defense has been on a tear the last few games. Glad to see Walker finally reinstated.
Liked what I saw in the limited action Chris Walker got.

Yeah. That was fun. It's been a while since we've had an above the rim type player.
Two blocks within his first 2-3 minutes of playing time too. Very nice.
Going to the VCU game tonight! It's always fun to see havoc up close and personal.
Noles beat VT in what I think was a must win to keep tournament hopes alive. Leonard Hamilton teams drive me crazy. I'll watch the games, but I never seem to enjoy myself when doing so. Normally I'm yelling at the TV because of them making their 20th turnover. Hamilton has taken this team as far as he can. Time for us to upgrade!

Been that way running on at least 4 years.

It seems like every time Hamilton gets close to being out the door, he comes up with a good win vs Duke or UNC, etc to end the season.
I agree his time has come and gone.
Big time game tonight, hopefully the Gators can get this win. It's always tough at Rupp.
Crud. Well, that game demonstrates experience triumphs over young talent.

He has had a nice run. Made more tourney appearances than any previous coach. But he has brought them as far as he can. Even in their best years, they are a Sweet 16 team at best.

Your game must have echoed the one I watched. St. Louis starts five seniors; that's just hard to overcome in basketball.
FSU probably in a must win (less winning the ACC title) against north carolina.
Gators up to #2, Syracuse receives all but one 1st place vote.

The thing that baffles me, is how is Villanova rated ahead of Creighton when Creighton absolutely smoked them twice.
It's all irrelevant until March anyway.
Gators take to the court tonight, can't wait ! (Even though it is Auburn)
