I like how everyone has on aviators and the girl in the background has hers shades off staring at them wondering why hers aren't also aviators.
The way I look at it is...at least we won't make history for the wrong reason
I'm just happy we could accept the victory, the tacks are HORRIBLE and they don't even know it yet!

When the 0-8 jags beat you, the whole world knows it.
Total team victory. The offense had a great 1st half, then the D put up 9 points in the 2nd half when the O did nothing. Special teams was special all day, with good returns, good coverage, downing the punt at the 1, Scobee hitting 2 FG, etc.
Gus played it too conservative in the 2nd half on offense, and the prevent D in the last 4 minutes should have lost us the game. They finally dialed up the pressure, and Will Blackmon's takeaway TD was brilliant. Definitely the game winning play, but the whole defense deserves the game ball, IMO. Gus relied on them for the win and they delivered. The offense needs work.

The draft order reference wasn't directed at you, but toward the inevitable onslaught of the "meaningless win" crowd. I agree that it wasn't the most satisfying win, but I enjoyed seeing the defense play scrappy for the majority of the game and force a couple of the turnovers. The tacks definitely shot themselves in the foot just enough to keep the Jags in it.
The real value of this win is that it adds substance to Gus Bradley's mantra. Now the head coach can say to the players "See? If you concentrate on improving, good things will eventually happen".

As I quote you, Bradley will utilize this victory as a motivation quote...

Losing sucks. This feels so much better.
I want more wins.
If Caldwell is the man, he will figure out what's best for the team regardless of what our draft number is.
Turnover ratio is a good indicator of inspired play. It's hard to play inspired football when you are 0-8 with nothing to play for but pride. Kudos to the team for that.
The thing about turnovers is some people always consider it a gift from a poor offense without giving credit to good defensive effort. A fumbled punt return, for instance, is a gift. A forced fumble from a bone-jarring hit is a take-away. I didn't see any gifts by the tacks today.

There is no bad side to winning anyone that says otherwise I have an issue with. Tanking is a myth only fans believe in, teams don't lose on purpouse, this is a production based business.
We won a game we should've won, it's a start in the right direction, now lets build on it Jags.

Well Said and to add to your statement... Bradley will also divulge critical input...

As happy as I am with our victory today, I just hope a meaningless win (unless we win out the rest of the season :\ ) doesn't hinder our future. Glad for a win to prevent worse team ever status, but again, hope it doesn't hinder our future.
GO JAGS!!

Happy for you, Jags!
Now watch us work, and go do it again next week please!
Congrats to the Jaguars and to the fans on the win over Tennessee. This was a result I didn't see coming after what transpired with Justin Blackmon. The bye certainly came at the right time for the Jaguars.
Props again to Chad Henne for the leadership he displayed several days ago. It paid off!
Regardless of the situation, winning against your number 1 rival is very rewarding. Let alone beating them in their house.
Enjoy the victory everyone,
