Quote:As happy as I am with our victory today, I just hope a meaningless win (unless we win out the rest of the season :\ ) doesn't hinder our future. Glad for a win to prevent worse team ever status, but again, hope it doesn't hinder our future.
GO JAGS!!
Even losing out wouldn't guarantee the first pick. Learning how to win is vital to this rebuilds success
Quote:There is no bad side to losing anyone that says otherwise I have an issue with. Tanking is a myth only fans believe in, teams don't lose on purpouse, this is a production based business.
We won a game we should've won, it's a start in the right direction, now lets build on it Jags.
Bradley finally got the team up for a game other than the historic Broncos underdog matchup, huh?

Sure looks like it you don't get 4 turnovers by accident they came to play this week.
The drastic difference on the defensive line Lone shows they're better then they've been playing.
Only issue I had with the coaching was at the end of the 4th qt we came out passing while nursing a 2 pt lead with 4 mins to go, still don't get that one

The Titans were playing absolutely terribly. Take a slightly below average offense, and this team wins today by 20 points. Take a great offense, and it probably wins by 35. The Titans today played worse than this team has ever played. And that's why I can't get excited about the win. It's bittersweet. Sweet in that -- we beat the stinking tacks. Bitter in that if they came to play today, we'd have gotten beaten.
I have no issue with Gus Bradley. But let's not get ahead of ourselves and crown this team like we did after we lost to the Broncos by less than 20 points. One less mistake today by the Titans, and we'd have probably still been winless. When you rely on the other team to make mistakes to win, you don't get them very often. I'm glad we're not going winless this season, but I'd rather have it come in a hard fought win, then a gift-wrapped victory that looked like we tried to refuse it. Our offense looked so bad, the men in the stadium mistook it for a female tacks fan.

At long last, the Jaguars finally end their 13 game losing streak. IT'S TIME TO PUT ASIDE OUR DIFFERENCES AND CELEBRATE OUR NEW FOUND MEDIOCRITY! 1-8 BABY!
Mediocrity?? Are you talking about mediocrity?? Are you kidding me? Mediocrity?? I'm just hoping we can attain shabby. -- Jim 'homebiscuit' Mora

Probably the greates thing I'll ever see this season... Hmmm... so tasty, I'm gettin full from this rich sweetness!
Despite Henne trying to give the game away, we won. It is nice to be off the snide but ouch that was a tough second half offensively.

You sure?
Don't kid yourselves. All joking aside, there are always plenty of very nice looking women at tacks games.
I wonder why the woman in between them, above seat 18, has a pair of sunglasses in her hand, and another pair in her shirt. She has this, "Hey..look what I found in someone's purse...I bet I can get a crack rock for this," look about her.
Edit: Nevermind. I see a dude with a flannel thing going on either taking or handing them to her.
And to make things better every team in the AFC South lost except the Jaguars.

Division CHAMPIONSHIP!!! :teehee:
I've never seen such a quick turnaround from we will never win to we didn't win by enough. Regardless of the score, the Jags did what they needed to do and a win is a win....so all in all a good day to be a Jags Fan!!!!!!

Heck, I would take a win even if we won by only 1 point, committed numerous turnovers, and had a mediocre QB leading the way.
The great thing about todays win, it was about the tacks sucking as much as us improving! That's a win win!

But Fitzgerald still torched us today. If Fitzgerald had been starting today prior to Locker, we would have lost. But again, a win is a win.

With Locker being out for the rest of the season, the tacks will say probably stick with him again going into next year. They're in the no mans land we where in with Gabbert last year, haven't seen enough to abandon the guy but he's likely never going to do anything great.
The tacks are on the road to 3 more years of just being completely average and doing nothing to get better. It's wonderful! welcome to purgatory tacks, you deserve it.
