Bitter, bitter SEC and gator homer.

Quote:When did I say that? You were claiming the 5-4 Vandy team is decent. I asked who have they beaten. And you put one average Georgia team and a really bad florida team as your proof. What I did find ironic is the two teams that you used to back up your stance of Vandy being decent lost to two teams in the turd conference.you can stop at Kentucky and Arkansas. the rest are solid. Vanderbilt would utterly demolish duke
So the SEC doesn't have turds? Like Kentucky, Tenessee, florida, Arkansas, Mississippi State? BTW, Duke's 7-2 and at least beat a ranked opponent. I think they are closer this year then they have been, but SEC is a better conference, I won't argue that.
florida is not better then every team in the ACC other then FSU and Clemson. No matter what excuses you make, Miami beat pre-injury florida. They were better.

you missed my point then. i know Clemson is good. Miami is average and not better than Florida. they just got lucky that UF turned the ball over. Florida out gained them by a mile
Quote:florida is not solid. Again, are you watching your team play each week? They are most likely going to have the worst season since 1979 and snap the 2nd longest bowl streak in the nation. Maybe you are right about Vandy, maybe you aren't. Of course, even if Duke did win then it wouldn't mean they are better, right?
They didn't get lucky that florida turned the ball over. It was bad play from a mediocre QB. And you are still getting bad play from another mediocre QB. That is what bad teams do. Bad teams turn the ball over.
Quote:Wow, F A R T is considered a bad word, lol.
Quote:If Florida isn't solid, then neither is Miami. The 3rd best team in the ACC.
Quote:UF is/was better than Miami. they just lost the turnover battle. the better team did not win that day. check the stats
Quote:I did check the stats only to realize that Turnovers are part of the stats. :woot:
Quote:I don't know what Miami is honestly especially with The Duke out. Their best win is against pre-injured florida. If you want to say right now they aren't a solid team I would tend to agree with you. But florida is worse then solid. They are a BAD team right now. Again, they will have a losing record. Do you need miami to be "not solid" to form the opinion that florida is bad? No, most fans, even gator homers, know they are a bad team. I'm just not sure what you are trying to defend here.

I look at the score and when it mattered UM was better than UF....you can rationalize it all you want, but the score says UM wins. If we did not have turnovers.... well you did and both Uf QBs stink..so get over it. I get so tired of hearing gator fans frame every response with..yes but. This is just not a good year for UF, it happens
Quote:That your conference is a joke....
The 5th best team in the SEC is probably better than Clemson. The one and only win FSU has against a "solid" team. Miami is not solid if Florida isn't solid considering they barely lost, on the road, after turning it over five times.
FSU is not as good as they look. They are mostly a product of a joke conference that pretends to be good.
Quote:you are missing the point. this is about how poor the ACC is. UF, a "bad" team, really should have beat Miami in their own house. Miami has been proclaimed as the 3rd best team in the ACC and a quality win for FSU when they aren't even very good.

Quote:No, they shouldn't have beaten them. They lost. Geez, stop making so many excuses.
Quote:I haven't argued with you about SEC being better then the ACC. That still has no impact on how good FSU is. Their schedule is what their schedule is. You have some odd way about defining good teams. Vanderbilt is good simply because they lost to good teams and beat average to bad teams. FSU is bad because they crushed all of the opponents they have faced, even the really good to good teams.i didnt say FSU was bad. we can't continue this discussion if you can't read what im saying
Clemson already beat one of the best teams in the SEC. Georgia. Georgia pre-injury was a top 10 team. Now they aren't, but that isn't the team Clemson played.
Was florida "solid" pre-injury? Sure. But that isn't what we are talking about. Florida is a bad team right NOW. Why is this so hard for you to grasp?
I would tell you that you have an argument if FSU was struggling against the opponents they have faced. But they haven't. They have been dominate throughout the entire year. And they are very good at all phases of the game. There aren't many teams like that. Very few in fact. I do think they are as good as they have looked and hopefully they will get the chance to prove that in January.
