Quote:Or they're locked into their seed. Which could easily happen.
And Matt Hasselbeck would be playing. Hasselbeck played against this defense a few weeks ago and went right down the field.

Quote:Ever? Is this your first year of watching football?
Quote:If Gabbert gets released, do you think he'll still get a workout from another team? Just for kicks, it'll be interesting to see how his career unfolds.
I mean, somebody like David Carr still gets calls every now and then.
Quote:No one can with any seriousness say that Goobert is a better option than Chad. Chad isn't very good, but he's still miles beyond Blaine. I'll take this move as the obvious choice for what should have been from the beginning.
Quote:I can't believe we still have people that want to argue over gabbert and henne. It's like arguing that you like getting kicked in the crotch more than having splinters driven under your fingernails. It's pointless.Coming from you, the irony is too much.

Quote:No team ever loses to get rid of the head coach.
Quote:Ever? Is this your first year of watching football?
Quote:Name one player who ever said - and proved - his team tanked a whole season on purpose to get rid of the head coach.
The only player to ever suggest maybe losing one game on purpose to fire the coach was Sammy Baugh, and he admitted he had no proof.
Quote:You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means. It means exactly how I intended to mean. It's nice that you finally see what's written on the wall, though.

Quote:I promise everyone on here gabbert will be starting after the bye week. I just think gus is starting henne this game because no matter what they will lose to the 49ers. He just want to get to the bye week so they can give gabbert an extra week to prepare for our next opponent after this game. This

At least with Henne, it gives you a shot at evaluating the other skill players on the roster without risking much in the W-L front, especially at WR. If you put Gabbert on the field, you're not risking your first pick status, but you won't have much of an opportunity to see what you have at those positions.
Quote:You obviously don't. What's ironic is there are still people that are arguing over two QBs that have both shown they don't belong on an NFL team. That's irony. The irony is that you, of all the posters on this forum, is making a sarcastic response such as "why are people still debating over Gabbert and Henne" when all of last season and the off-season you were actively preaching about how bad Henne is or how much better Gabbert is than Henne.

Quote:No, I always said that Gabbert was the guy that hadn't yet peaked. Henne had. I've seen enough to believe that we've seen Gabbert's peak now, and it happened last season. He's gone downhill since.Dude. Just stop. Your saying "I can't believe we still have people that want to argue over gabbert and henne" has gotta be the biggest joke of the season on this board.
