Quote:Dude.  Just stop.   Your saying  "I can't believe we still have people that want to argue over gabbert and henne"  has gotta be the biggest joke of the season on this board.

After all of your blathering  about "clutch" and "youngest" for months and months and now all of a sudden you are shocked that people still want to argue?

We were all amazed that you still wanted to argue months ago after repeating the same nonsense over and over, and over,and over,and over,and over,.......

I never argued. I just made my points and others wanted to try to convince me of something.

Well I'm convinced now, and it's not because of people posting on the message board, it's because I got to watch the guy play and saw that he's actually regressing now.

As for Shangster maybe I was wrong about him, I don't care at this point, I've moved past it. Why do you care what my opinion of Gabbert was heading into the year?

I'm ready for the draft.
Upon reading this article, it sounds as if we'll be depending on Henne until he proves that we can't depend on him. This confirms that a HIGH Drafted QB is within our grasp...

Certainly looking for the future...

NH3...
Quote:I promise everyone on here gabbert will be starting after the bye week. I just think gus is starting henne this game because no matter what they will lose to the 49ers. He just want to get to the bye week so they can give gabbert an extra week to prepare for our next opponent after this game.

I'd like to see BG w/an good OL and healthy receiving core...

NH3...
Gabbert has supplanted Stanzi for the #2 QB spot ????   Break out the paper bags!   :woot:  Big Grin

Quote:I'd rather just keep starting Gabbert if he's now healthy enough to.
Your full steam ahead with the tanking for teddy group.

Let me ask you this.

What if Caldwell picks #1 and picks a QB other than teddy?  Would you support it?
It doesn't matter.

Am I the only one here who has the brains to realize we AREN'T getting the #1 pick in the draft? The bucs are a worse team with a way harder schedule down the stretch WITH players quitting on the coach. Jaguars will rally behind bradley and have an easier schedule. THE WRITING is on the wall.

Get bridgewater OUT of your head. Under no circumstance will he be a Jaguar next season, Ill bet my entire account on that. Feel free to quote me come January when we DONT have the #1 pick.

But heres some good news, THERE ARE POTENTIAL PRO BOWL QB'S IN THIS DRAFT. It's way too stacked with talent. Boyd has more potential than the entire QB class of 2013 combined. Manziel is a better QB than his closest NFL style QBs like Newton/Tebow/Vick. Aaron Murrays only knock is size/arm strength but could posess enough to be the next Drew Bree's or Russel Wilson. Last but certainly not least, Marcus Mariota. He is RGIII but better pocket presence/accuracy. My wild prediction - He is the best QB in this draft and will be caldwell's QB

@Oklahomie, it was because some of the stuff you said were ridiculous. We all watched the same player and team played last season.

@Brasshunter, if the Buccs ends up with the #1 pick, then they will have to implement a lottery system for the draft order. The Bucs are not -- and I repeat NOT -- a worse team than this Jags. They are good enough to be competitive in most games, but just not good enough to win i.e. Jets and Saints. On the other hand, the Jags get blown out even by some of the worse teams in the league.
You should educate yourself. It goes based on Strength of schedule. The Bucs are the worst team in the league because they're players aren't playing until Schiano hits the road. A highly motivated player is always better than an unmotivated player. Everytime. Tim tebow doesn't count because he isn't motivated due to not willing to play anything else than QB. Hes greedy

This x 1000.

Dude inserted a Gabbert argument into every thread he posted in for 5 months. I seriously contemplated that he might be a Gabbert family member.
Quote:Tampa Bay remaining Schedule:

Panthers

@Seahawks

vs.Dolphins

vs.Falcons

@Lions

@Panthers

vs.Bills

vs.49ers

@Rams

@Saints

Just throwing it out there that i think we have more winnable games than them

Why do yall keep bringing up Tampa Bay? They are way better then us even winless as us, all of their losses has been by single digits and all of our losses have been by 10 points or more. Tampa has way more talent then we have and its not even close, they will find a way to win 2 or 3 games, I dont see us winning but may be 1 game.

And Mad Dog your naming those teams come on now, Clev, Arizona, Hous twice they all have top 10 defense, and Case Keenum in KC looked a million times better then Gabbert at home vs KC. Bills they almost beat Ciny with a QB off the freaking PS they are better then you think, Tenn Jake Locker has looked very good even coming back from injury. I highly doubt the Colts will be resting anybody, KC and Den arent going anywhere they will be trying for home field advantage most likely.

We my luck into 1 win but its def not gonna be easy.
Quote:I'm not so sure about that.  At least with Henne, it gives you a shot at evaluating the other skill players on the roster without risking much in the W-L front, especially at WR.  If you put Gabbert on the field, you're not risking your first pick status, but you won't have much of an opportunity to see what you have at those positions.

Thank You this is what I been saying, Gabbert playing hurts everybody else, it just makes the team too awful to really evaluate them, offense and defense.
Lol @ people saying Gabby and Henne are the same.

Gabbert is downright terrible. Henne is bad. Henne gives us the better chance to win.

I know that it is based on strength of schedule. I'm just lamenting that because of that the Bucs might get the #1 pick even though, technically, they are not the worst team in the league.
When Gabbert is the QB it feels like every First down is a mini miracle

When Henne is the QB it feels like he can move it between the 20's fine but will never get the TD

Henne is 10X Better, but still bad.

This is how bad Gabbert is:

Henne is throwing 2 picks a game and having trouble throwing a single TD

Gabbert throws picks, can't get a 1st down to save his life, and crumbles after one bad drive and never recovers.

I heard someone mention this yesterday. Henne will start until week 16 and get injured. Gabbert will come in week 17 and win the game and cost us the first pick.

Henne is 1 and 12 as a starter as a qb of the Jacksonville jaguars so your wrong about that partner. Henne is only good at putting up garbage yards i.e. last game when we only scored 6 points so step away from the computer and play with your monster trucks. lol. j/k

Wins is a pointless arguement. Gabbert got a win against Baltimore despite doing nothing.

Henne can move the chains Gabbert can't. I don't see how anyone can't see that
