Quote:The OP just doesn't like Cecil. He has missed one game to injury so far.

SO wait. Are you suggesting he has an agenda? I'm stunned.
Dr. Diva?

Amid the laughter I'm experiencing from watching Tim and others on the board make you look totally idiotic, I keep wondering what a "ct" joint is on a car... I believe you meant CV joint. Yes.... What were you thinking....Or maybe, what were you smoking?

TMD: A GM, physicist, physician, clairvoyant, neurologist, anatomist, mechanic, and overall pure genius.

What am I missing here?

His mad culinary skills.  Nobody avoids grease splatter better than he does.

And his Cher impersonation is second to none.

It's a wonder he has time to post on the message board
Sigh....I got through 2 1/2 pages of this thread and had to quit. It's very tiring. Every year the same thing,   TMD arguing his point and the rest of the thread arguing against him.

TMD I understand your reasoning on why you say I.R. Cecil but no, you just don't do it. You let him heal themn bring him back and let him play football for his team.He is one of the better players on his team and he is proud. He wants to play and produce he doesn't want to waste away while some other guy potentially takes his job (Not Likeley) .... You forget Shorts is still very young in the NFL and he still has growing and learning to do , he needs the playing time.

That's funny right there , I don't care who ya are..( Larry the Sattalite guy voice.

yeah, make me look totally idiotic.....kinda like an almost identical thread I made last year when I stated that Shorts should be shut down for the season after the first concussion to be on the safe side as the team was 2-9 or whatever, and didn't want them rushing him back when there was no intelligent reason to.....the same usual suspects blasted me on that very thread just like here....

oh, btw, small piece of info that I'm sure you & especially they don't care about......I turned out 100% dead right a few weeks later when Shorts was rushed back and quickly sustained another concussion....

Thats how it goes here.

When something similar happens this year and Cecil aggravates the current injury and/ or makes it worse, like the concussion issue last year by needlessly rushing back to play some meaningless games in a dead season, I'll just chuckle, shake my head and remember this post along with last years....

So then he'll go on IR and we'll see him next year.  As a fan, i pay to see my team for the fun and entertainment of it.  Cecil is one of my favorite players, as a fan, to pay money to watch.  Cecil is being payed to play the game.  Stop with your narcissistic crap, you sound like a fool.

thank god I'm a soap and melodrama fan feels the jaguars own version of greys anatomy

"so what's the diagnosis doctor"

"the patient is clearly suffering from delusions of grandeur"

"oh jeepers (mixed with scooby doo for some reason), what are you going to do doctor?"

"get me some tweezers, I have to remove that stick from his [BAD WORD REMOVED]"

I don't deny your right sometimes TMD , your right far more than me, I thought gabbert could be our franchise qb, i really thought we could repair him and salvage the number one pick. I was wrong... VERY VERY WRONG unfortunately we ruined him and will have to draft again, but couldn't you be a little less pompous about it.

if you could be a little less up yourself about it I could start to quite like maybe even.... wait wait melodrama again damn you grey's anatomy Wallbash

Yeah,... assuming he doesn't cause more serious shoulder damage.

At 0-6, no reason to take chances with any player. I'd be highly conservative with injuries at this point and IR most players that are going to have projected multi week injuries. Theres no intelligent reason at this point to rush any of the core players back.

You don't think team Doctors are advising them about that possibility?  They are making recommendations based on thier professional opinion.  You are basing yours off pure speculation.  Here's a thought: Let the pros do their job and stop assuming you know everything.
46,000 vs 40,000 posts. Divas? Or " Hello Newman" types with nothing else going on in their lives, besides coming up with opinions and witty insults? One, perhaps, is a wannabe manager, the other, perhaps, a wannabe Don Rickles who , in their elitist way, makes fun of opinions and snide remarks regarding ones occupation from time to time. Good to have goals.

I don't understand why someone calls someone names and insults that person or their opinion, yet keeps responding for pages and pages to that same person. One, who I would assume should set an example on the board, since they discipline others for various things. Reminds me of a cop getting a DUI.

These are just opinions, some good, some bad, some just because they have nothing else to do. Debate them. But why attack the messenger personally. Maybe because the bully they were in grade school, has now extended to the keyboard.

'Rush them back.'

What a buffoon. You really think that anyone is going to be allowed to be 'rushed back' if they aren't medically cleared.

You didn't even know what the hell the injury was, probably still don't know what it is, and absolutely have no idea of the severity.

So in the TMD NFL any team that is out of contention should immediately IR any player with any 'multi week injury'.

Brilliant freakin' plan dude. Brilliant.

The same "doctors" obviously cleared Cecil to play last year, too. That one didn't work out too well, now, did it?

any player? No. a player thats going to be a big part of the core group/ building blocks going forward? Yup. Its just smart business.

You really think you know better than medical professionals though lol

But, in your world he's expendable and not one of the building blocks.

You're a walking contradiction.

Sometimes it seems the wrong or no "judgment" is used. Seems to be the case last year with Cecil's situation.

I don't care what fancy degrees they have. A lot of times the right answer is fairly obvious and common sense.

Yeah, those doctors who didn't have their crystal ball in front of them to see the nasty hit he would take when coming back.  You're just obnoxious.
