Quote:But, in your world he's expendable and not one of the building blocks.

You're a walking contradiction.

Context.

He's a valuable player because of his age/ skill/ what he's proven.

He's also a player that if you could have traded him and gotten a good return, you do it, because he's not the "star" player that Blackmon is, and Cecil can be replaced. Its all about value. I was never suggesting to kick Cecil to the curb for say - a 4th & 5th rounder :whistling: , but the idea was that if another team with a need came a calling and offered the Jags a substantial offer of draft choices for him, they should listen.

You try soooooo hard. Laughing
Quote:Yeah, those doctors who didn't have their crystal ball in front of them to see the nasty hit he would take when coming back.  You're just obnoxious.

Crystal ball?? He was coming off of a concussion. was rushed back and sustained another concussion. Obviously he wasn't fully healed from the previous one. To act as if it was just "pot luck" is asinine. You're just so blinded by your homerism, that you will always tote the company line for whatever decisions the Jags leadership makes.

Sorry but that wasn't obvious to me Dr. TMD.  The concussion program in the NFL is real, and gotten an absurd amount of research and attention recent years, if you've been paying attention.  But why should i believe that when i have you to tell me what they should have done.  It's not homerism, it's realizing that this multi-billion dollar machine is going to protect it's assets.

Quote:46,000 vs 40,000 posts. Divas? Or " Hello Newman" types with nothing else going on in their lives, besides coming up with opinions and witty insults? One, perhaps, is a wannabe manager, the other, perhaps, a wannabe Don Rickles who , in their elitist way, makes fun of opinions and snide remarks regarding ones occupation from time to time. Good to have goals.

I don't understand why someone calls someone names and insults that person or their opinion, yet keeps responding for pages and pages to that same person. One, who I would assume should set an example on the board, since they discipline others for various things. Reminds me of a cop getting a DUI.

These are just opinions, some good, some bad, some just because they have nothing else to do. Debate them. But why attack the messenger personally. Maybe because the bully they were in grade school, has now extended to the keyboard.

^This.

My opinion on the issue with IR'ing Shorts is that it's a terrible idea.  Get him reps against real NFL teams so he can improve for the next several years that he will be on the team.  Otherwise, we might as well just sit down Blackmon so we don't "risk" him for injury.
I heard Blackmon is in pain from his Hamstring too, we should IR him as well. To prevent worsening the injury.

No, but I'd monitor the situation closely and err on the side of caution regarding PT for him.

Quote:Why not just be on the safe side and IR him at this point? Its not like they are playing for the playoffs.

So we should IR Shorts cause we are not playing for the playoffs but...

Monitor Blackman and not ir him but limit his practice time.

Contradict yourself much

Short's injury was being spoke of as missing games, Blackmon's has not.

Once again, someone is tryyyyyyyying tooooooooo hard.

Blackmon has been missing practice juuuuuust like Shorts with Shorts' injury it's also been spoke of that he could play and his mobility is getting better everyday, but I know you'll probably try and downplay that as coach speak.

In a season where you have admitted you don't want to win, why not be cautious with both?

No not at all. You just seem to have comprehension issues, much.

Shorts' injury seems more serious than Blackmon's does at the present time.

'Seems more serious'... HOW THE HECK WOULD YOU KNOW?!?!?!

You are a guy, presumably with no medical training who watches football on TV. You have literally no idea how serious CS3's injury is or what the best course of action is and every time you insinuate that you do, you make yourself look like a moron.

Pretty damn funny coming from the king of bending over backwards to 'prove' a point.

Why risk it?

The Waffle Fairy told him. :teehee:

Also, Ace Sanders has a concussion?.....never saw that coming.... :whistling:

Do you have Mike Brown on your fantasy team or something?
Quote:Do you have Mike Brown on your fantasy team or something?

haha, nope, the only Jag I've had on my fantasy teams is Blackmon.
Ace Sanders sounds like the name of a WR he should be on IR. He just doesn't have that "star" name like "Calvin Johnson" or "Jordy Nelson".

Ace Sanders does have the name....just has the body of a player that should be frequently on IR in the NFL...   Laughing

It honestly takes little to no effort to expose how ridiculous you are.

Now it's about context.

And in the same post you've played both sides of the fence claiming "context", then talking about how he has good trade value.

It's clear you don't even recognize how big a joke you actually are because you're too busy trying to convince everyone, including yourself, that you're just so darn smart.

Meanwhile, the world laughs at you over your desperate cries for attention and validation.

People who are comfortable in their own skin don't need to run around telling everyone how smart they are constantly.  Those who are painfully insecure constantly have to tout their mental abilities.  I think we all know where you fall on this spectrum.
