I hate when people say this team sucks when in reality it's about 95% QB. Our defense is so much better than anyone expected it to be and our offense has big time weapons making plays with the likes of Chad Henne and Gabbert at the helm.

Noone is claiming that Bridgewater will definitely be a pro bowl qb.
Of course he could become a busy, just like any other player.
But you know what? I still want the #1 pick in each round when we already are 0 and 6 without a chance at the playoffs.

Don't underestimate our pass rush. Corey Liuget is shaping into his usual self and I honestly don't think the Jaguars have anyone to keep him off. Same with Reyes.
cox stands NO CHANCE against Blackmon.

Lets not get crazy I'd more like 50% QB, 40% oline, 10% pass rush. I think Henne would look better this season if we had a oline that could at the very least run block. If we get our oline right next year in the draft, Teddy or who ever should be sitting pretty, with Blackmon, Shorts, Sanders, Lewis, and MJD (yes I would bring them back while hopefully also picking up the RBs and TE's of the future and make them compete). And if we can figure our how to use Robinson we could be scary on offense.

on a serious note it was Gilchrist (spelling?) that I saw covering Blackmon in the 1st not sure what happend after that.
Blackmon lined up in the slot the majority of the time, where he wasnt being covered by Cox.

Uuhhh,, did u not see the Chargers control the ball at will (particularly in the first half,, so no "they were exhausted because of the anemic offense")? This defense is not "better than expected." They still suck.
Maybe in 2015 after some of these guys develop into their third year.
